Just hit two years at my planning job and feeling like Im doing a bad job and want to quit.

I was hired at a large city two years ago to do long range planning for a very contentious project. I do not have a master's in planning and previously held two years of long range planning at an adjacent suburb. My previous role was 3 years of environmental consulting (this is an environmentally focused role) after getting my bachelors.

I basically am struggling with soft skill work. This is a very technical project and I feel like I am constantly behind on understanding our code and methodology while still trying to learn how different city codes tie in. Then there's the state and federal requirements. I also got recently diagnosed with ADHD and have had a hard time explaining the project to the public. My boss is harsh at critiquing and has lashed out a few times at me.

It's gotten so bad that I feel my confidence is at zero, I'm having panic attacks and just want to sit and cry every time I see a comment from him on my work. I feel like an imposter. Were a small team and I can't help but feel like a failure. He also treats me like I'm a kid at times (20 year age gap).

I feel like after two years I'm still not anywhere near where I should be in terms of bettering my project knowledge and I'm just a burden on my small team and my boss. I feel like they should have hired someone else who would have done a better job. I want to quit but I'm stuck in a lease and just adopted a cat and I feel stuck just feeling miserable.

Are people nice to beginners?

This is my first TCG and I want to go to a Nexus Night. I've only been playing against my bf. I have a Viktor deck and he has a Vi deck. We've been slowly upgrading our starter decks. I managed to build a silly Ivern deck too but don't have many copies of Ivern champions or Daisy's. I'm also worried I get a card effect wrong or I'm playing incorrectly. But I want to play more Riftbound, I just worry I'll show up and get obliterated by really expensive decks or embarrass myself.

I'm also a woman, so that adds a little more pressure being in male dominated spaces.

Is there anyway to improve memory?

I don't normally feel disabled with my ADHD even though I see and recognize the signs. I suppose a part of me thinks the ADHD burnout and anxiety can be managed well with meds and routine.

But what gets me is my bad memory. It's always been bad. I've always enjoyed working with my hands a lot but got scared pursuing any type of work that would let me do that like the trades. Now I'm an urban planner and my lack of memory has me crying from frustration.

I have to pause to think about which side of the river is east or west. I blank on names, acronyms and small details. I mix things up a lot (for example top of bank is used to calculate XYZ and ordinary high water is used to calculate ABC but I get them mixed up).

While I think I can eventually get better at my job I know this is the end of the road for me. I cannot trust myself to be responsible for projects at a management level and represent these projects accurately without making small mistakes or misspeaks. And I'm fine with that but I feel embarrassed that my boss has to step in correct me a lot. He also noticed I tend to be very detail oriented and jump in without context when talking to people. So he's seen my ADHD and Im too scared to tell him.

I think I just feel like my memory is making me feel like a square trying to fit into a circle and the circle is my job. And I feel guilty they could have hired someone else who would have done a better job.

Where can I buy this SNP Prep Aqua Sun Cream?

I was in Korea a few months ago and absentmindedly picked up this sunscreen at a CU convenience store. It has been my favorite sunscreen since and I cannot find it anywhere.

It is the SNP Prep Aqua Sun Cream Hyaluronic Acid x PDRN SPF 50. Pick attached.

I'm literally desperate since it's gone soon - I'll pay for someone to pick me up some from Korea :(

I went to Shirakawa-go in June!

One of the prettiest places I've been to. It's gorgeous as a world heritage site. Most of the tourists were from tourist buses from Kanzawa or Nagoya (I rented a car and drove there). Lots of gift shops, cafes, and snack stalls. Completely free to enter but parking costs a few dollars. You enter crossing the suspension bridge. The gift shops usually have a handful of merch but there's one near the entrance with a dedicated Higurashi merch section. If you buy Higurashi merch at any of the gift shops the merchants will stop you and hand you a Higurashi flyer that shows the locations of all the real life locations used in the show.

Lots of Higurashi love but they keep it on the down low lol weather was warm and humid and I could hear some cicadas. The rice patties reflecting the sunlight and the water wheels felt enchanting. Saw one person cosplaying Ganyu and saw people fixing the straw roofs on one of the houses. People live there still so be respectful.

It was funny seeing who was a Higurashi fan and who was there for the world heritage site. You would see people get confused on why some people would take photos of a random house (Rika and Satoko's for example). On Google maps you can see people's reviews quoting the show.

Highly recommend! You can take a tour bus from Kanzawa or Nagoya. Alternatively you can train up to Takayama (1.5 hours express train) from Nagoya and take public transit, a tour bus or rent a car from there. I rented a car and took the long way back and saw monkeys!

Lexapro & Adderall - How to manage GI issues?

I started adderall about a year ago and it's been life changing. My anxiety has gone down a lot. Im on continuous Yaz birth control to manage my PMDD. But I started Lexapro 6 months ago to help manage BPD-like symptoms and it's been great. I have more of an appetite, gained back some weight and have energy to do things

However, adderall has always given me very soft stools/diarrhea. Which I've tolerated by drinking thick yogurt smoothies to coat my stomach. But since adding lexapro, my stomach has started to hurt more, my nausea has gotten worse and TMI but I can't stop going to the bathroom. I solidified my theory that Lexapro worsened this when I went on a 2 week vacation in Japan where I left my stumlant behind and despite only eating foods that should have constipated me, I still had soft/liquid stools.

And now starting adderall again after a 2 week break has wrecked my stomach. I'm wondering what I could do to try and motivate this. I've been taking anti-nausea medicine and tums, but it's not enough anymore. Is there a probiotic or another med I can take? Do I need Imodium/anti diarrhea? Should I be drinking electrolytes? I just feel so strung out from shitting my brains out all day LOL And its killed my appetite despite the Lexapro cravings.

Alternatively, should I try a different stumlant? I meet with my psych in a few weeks. I've only ever been on XR Adderall and Lexapro. My psych says Wellbutrin is also an option but he wouldn't add another stimulant to that. I did try Ritalin and hated it how it made me feel.

I like Adderall and how it helps, but it's also becoming exhausting and I kind of loathe taking it now. Yes, I'm more productive and emotionally regulated but I'm constantly nauseated and feeling weak. I only take it during the days I work in the office so 1/2 a week.

Suica on Iphone with no data?

Hiya,

I'm going to Japan soon. I went 2 years ago and was able to download suica on my phone to pay for transit among other things. I now have a google phone I'm using that will have an esim on it, but will also have my old iphone. Is it possible to use my iphone suica to pay for transit if there's no data? I figure I would hotspot or use wifi to load up.

This might be silly, but I just found it easier to load it on my phone rather than tracking how much cash I need to refill etc.

Best place to shop for one day in Seoul?

Hi,

I'm a solo traveler that is doing 4 days in Busan and 1.5 days in Seoul (flying into Incheon on Sunday afternoon and leaving Tuesday morning to Busan).

I'm staying in Euljiro and mapped a few places I'm interested in spending my full day. One area is Hongdae/Yeonnam-dong, one is Seongsu, one is Insadong and one is the Starfield Mall (library, Baskin Robbins).

I'm interested in cafe hopping (cute/retro/cottage core/nature style over more industrial style cafes), clothes shopping, stationary and any cute DIY things (making charm bracelets, bag charms etc.). I would say my budget isn't cheapest option/best deal but also isn't dropping a few thousands on a designer pop up.

Assuming I can clear customs, check-in and shower by 7 pm on Sunday, I was thinking I could try to blitz the Starfield Mall for dinner, stopping at the library and getting Baskin Robbins. Then for my main day I was hoping to go to a cafe in the late morning, spend my afternoon shopping then head back to my hotel to rest before heading to a night market. On one hand many people like Hongdae for shopping but I've seen people say it's cheap drop shipped clothes, but on the other hand I've heard that Seongsu is more luxury with an industrial aesthetic that may not have what I'm interested in. And Insadong looks beautiful but may not have as much shopping. I have cafes marked for each area though.

I visited Bangkok earlier this year and my favorite store was called Daddy and the Muscle Academy. Hopefully this helps what I'm generally hoping to find in Seoul (basically cute stuff I can't find in the states but also can't bulk buy on Aliexpress lol).
