Questions about Vegas elopements

Hello all. I live in NY, but I am hoping to elope in Vegas next year, particularly at Sure Thing Chapel. It would be myself, my fiance, and probably about 8 close friends and family. If you did a Vegas elopement, I just have a few questions about the logistics and your experience if you wouldn't mind.

Did you get your hair and makeup done, or did you do it yourself? If you got it done, how were you able to coordinate it from home?

How did you transport your dress?

Did you do anything special before or after that you would or wouldn't recommend?

What time of year was it? It seems like late September/early October might be best so I'm not totally melting.

If you eloped at Sure Thing, what officiant did you choose? How was your experience overall?

Thank you in advance! Any tips/tricks or advice in general is also appreciated. The only thing I'm strongly set on is the guests because it is very important to me that my immediate family is there. I know that it gums up the works a bit but thats a price I'm willing to pay lol.

Veyes Brown Dreamy lashes

This is only my fourth time applying clusters, so not the best, but I'm getting the hang of it. I was previously using the b&q black lashes but just got these in today and had to try them out. I'm obsessed!! The band on these is thinner and more flexible but wider so they were easier to apply and are more comfortable. Though the glue in the kit doesnt feel as tacky as the b&q so hopefully they last well for me.

Mineragua for the first time at the campsite

Pretty good! Definitely has a flavor to it, a little more than I anticipated, but ice cold and crispy out of a glass bottle it is quite refreshing. I've never seen it around me in Buffalo, but saw it while camping in West Virginia and had to grab a couple.

Hot take

Aldi Kettle Cooked Salt n Vinegar chips are the best potato chips ever. Rivaled only by, but ultimately defeating, Cape Cod Salt Vinegar chips. That is all.

I found it!! Been looking for this flavor

I suppose its not that new, but new to me. Randomly found it at a small local grocery chain, along with packs of cans the other summer seasonal. Its pretty good! Pretty mild flavor comparatively, a light lemony iced tea flavor. Will definitely finish the pack.

John Prine

Tom Paxton

Thank you!

What was up with that guy in the mini Cooper in the parade? Anyone else see that?

We were standing by panera, and an altercation occurred where someone ran up and took the keys from someone driving a mini Cooper in the parade. Then someone else took the keys back and returned them to the driver, and it somehow turned into the guy driving pulling a bat out on someone else that got involved and threatening them with it. It went on for a long time with no real intervention, and then they just resumed the parade. It was crazy. I beg for some context.

These are reallyyyyyy good

My fiance is a huge coconut fan, so I couldnt pass up these coconut truffles today. Wow. They are amazing, I think around $3 for the bag. Very similar to the lindor, but the filling is a little bit creamer and less dense.

They also had strawberry and mango, regretting not picking up the strawberry to try too. I had to put the bag away after I ate 2 so I didnt crush the whole thing.

Howdy. I am looking for recommendations or experiences with local cat boarding facilities - I have 2 cats, and plan to be out of town in late summer for about a week or so. I'm a little apprehensive, my cats are my babies, but its either that or I trust a stranger to care for them in my home. I just want them to have the best care possible.

Just looking to put some feelers out and see what others' experiences have been. Thanks in advance.

Editing to add - Yes, I know that the cats staying at home with a petsitter is optimal. That is what I am hoping to do. But there are a few cons to that as well in our case, which is why I'm trying to gather some intel on boarding to weigh my options.
