10 days post surgery and my tonsils were pretty big, so my holes are also pretty big right now and I am finally able to add some solid food into my diet.
But I don‘t want to eat, because the food keeps getting stuck in the holes and it‘s so annoying. When will this end????

Everybody is talking about „scabs falling off“

I am on day 8 and my scabs are just dissolving and not „falling off“ they are also very soft and very moist (dr. said) so maybe that‘s the reason?

No clickbait, no bleeding.

But I am in su mich pain, that I fainted and was rushed to the hospital. I really thought my heart is going to stop from pain. It‘s way over 10/10 and I am scared that they damaged my nerve. The first 4 days I almosg had 0-1/10 pain, but now I am hallucinating from pain and I have a bitter taste in mouth.

They gave me opioids in the hospital, and that will vanish the pain for like 4 hours, just to come back extremely strong. 6:23am right now, and I feel like passing out again from pain. I regret this surgery, it was not worth it, I am literally scared for my life and my health, this can‘t be normal.

I ate right after the surgery normal food for 4 days, so I feel like my scabs are very thin. Now day 6 I am not possible to eat anymore, because I am in the worst pain ever.

How thick were your scabs before they fell off?

I was doing so fine the first days, didn‘t even need painkillers.

I am one night out of the hospital and what the fuck. I have the worst pain I ever felt. My throat, jaw and ears are being tortured. I can‘t take this.
I am sadly not joking, but pain is way more than 10/10

I swear to god, Uber Eats is not ready for the order I am going to place after I can finally eat again…

Rant over. Day 5.

Surgery was on tuesday and I am finally out of the hospital. Until here recovery was an easy ride, but since I am at home I only take paracetamol.

And goddamn, the pain really kicks in now, my jaw hurts so bad.

It‘s 7:49am in Germany and I haven‘t had any medication since yesterday 11am.

What should I say… I am stupid🤣 now I am in bad pain. It‘s still manageable but stille pretty bad. Pain also moves to my jaw :/

Don‘t make the same mistake as I did!

So I am sleeping like normal, I just have pain while swallowing and I eat solid foods since day 1.

Is this normal before day 5 kicks in or am I just lucky? :D

an die, die ihre Mandeln rausbekommen haben und alleine genesen sind, wie habt ihr es gehandhabt?

Ich werde alleine sein und habe etwas bedenken bezüglich den Nachblutungen. Ich habe den Ärzten mitgeteilt, dass ich niemanden habe der auf mich schauen kann, das hat sie allerdings wenig interessiert.
Bemerkt man eine Nachblutung während dem schlaf?

I have my surgery next week and all of my family in friends are hundreds of km away fron me. I have largerish tonsils and they also want to take out the lower part, which will lead to higher bleeding.

I will be in the hospital for 4 days, than go home.
Any need to be scared of? Will I notice a bleeding on my own at night?
