My boss scheduled a 1:1 meeting [ON]

Hi, FTM here, 24w

I started working at this company recently, but I never told them I was pregnant, bc I wfh and I was scared I would be fired/not taken into consideration. I decided to take two weeks off at the end of July before officially starting my maternity leave in August (I'm due at the beginning of September). I've been there for two months and I am still in training. I had asked HR how vacation and maternity leave works as my jobs pro-rates your vacation days on the first year of employment and they told me it would be wiser to use those weeks before going on leave as they could not be passed over onto the next. I needed also all my other PTO anyway for OB appointments. Anyways, I asked this was a while ago, but my boss scheduled a one on one meeting today with me and it's not the first time she does that, but I was wondering if I should tell her honestly that I am pregnant if she brings up my PTO... she could also just meet me how everything is going as she has done in the past, but I am conflicting and stressed. I have my 600h for employment insurrance/maternity even if they were to fire me, but I'm still so scared 🥹 If she doesn't bring it up, I was planning on telling her either next week or the first week of June. What should I do....?

Edit: there is no probation period. And they do top-ups, and there is no set amount of time employment for be elligible for it, you just need to be elligible for EI as well to obtain it.

Newly moved

Hi everyone,

I'm an RN and recently moved from Quebec. I noticed in most job postings in Ontario that they require all sorts of certifications that we usually get from training at our facility in Quebec (CPR, NRP, Lactation, etc.). While they did train us, we were never given "official" records for those things... So now I'm left wondering if I need to pay extra money to have those certifications before even applying to these jobs in Ontario, or do they actual provide it on hired and trained?

Walking

Hi everyone,

I'm a FTM and 22w+2 days. I don't know if it's the right place to be talking about this and Ia pologize in advance if it's not. I have not exerciced during my pregnancy and I just started daily walks and gentle stretches. I have a lot of regrets as I was overweight most of my life, managed to get to 150lbs (i'm 5'4) before getting married, and then gained a ton of happy weight and then got pregnant on top of it. I am now around 200lbs. I know that some movement is better than none at all, but do you guys think I could salvage myself? I don't want to gain anymore... i get told as long as baby is healthy it's all that matters, and to eat healthy as I already am, but what about me and my mental health? I know losing weight shouldn't be a goal, but I am already so big and I am not even done cooking this baby yet 🥲 is there anyone else who is or was in the same situation? What should I do to limit weight gain?

I think we have all seen the teaser for the new products, but am I the only one who wishes Hailey would release new scents for her peptide lip boost? As much as I love sugarmint, I wish she would come up with sweet or fruity scents for that formula as well!

Hi, I recently moved to Ontario after getting married. We are now expecting our first child and we are both working. I was wondering where I need to sign up for daycare... there seems to be no clear guidelines or websites. I know that there are crazy waitlists but idk where people apply!! I applied through YMCA and a few other websites, but it feels like I am doing this blindly... Thanks to anyone commenting.

Hi everyone,

As the title mentions it, I have dry thin hair and idk what to do anymore to hydrate and grow it. My scalp gets oily within a day, but my ends look "puffy" and dry all the time. No I do not have wavy hair. I did bleach it once last year for a balayage and immediately regreted it and returned to my OG color within 3 months. I use the OUAI detox shampoo every 3-4 washes and I use a dove conditionair. I have used the gisou hair conditionair and fino one as well in the past with very little results. I am pregnant fyi. Any advice would be welcome to make it softer and grow it faster. Btw this is my hair after being airdried and brushed.
