Was it just me or was only one boss actually hard?

Its obvious in a game where you try to make the most broken thing imaginable, it would be challenging to make a difficult boss. But the >!santa one!< really got me.

I think a lot of that is because the challenge was more of about dodging attacks than dealing damage. Most of the boss structures are kinda the same: dodge stuff then a mini DPS check, but this boss was particularly hard because sometimes you had to hit them while they were moving quickly, or from far away in a sort of fog.

I found that challenge enjoyable enough to make it a more memorable fight and even though I annihilated them, I felt an actual sense of accomplishment compared to the final boss fight

So how do you guys actually fold/unfold your bike daily?

I noticed the promo material for brompton always shows them slamming the bike open or flipping it closed quite dramatically, but it seems almost unanimous it should be done a lot more carefully.

I tend to assist it opening by guiding the rear wheel with my foot just a little bit so I use less monetum, but I haven't found a good way to close it in my 5 years of owning one.

I have the rear rack so when I flip the wheel underneath itself, I am essentially dropping it onto its roller wheels which has made me feel uneasy lately to the point Ive begun folding and unfolding it really carefully. Surely there's a better way? Or should I just give in and start being a little more carefree with the bike

3 speed C-line: is it enough?

I've had my 3 Speed C-line for about 5 or 6 years and love it dearly. However, I moved to San Francisco recently and have been definitely working a lot harder on hills than where I was originally from. I also plan to do some long distance rides.

I have been considering either upgrading it to a 6 speed if possible or trading it in for a 6 speed, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes.

For context I can tackle hills but they do wind me. There are definitely times I also feel my standard gear ratio is not giving enough power. But how significant is the additional gears? And is the weight gain noticable? Also should I replace it or upgrade it?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Going from the maze to the castle to the forest is absolutely brutal

I feel like this game could really have benefited from a clearer system of when you can fill your amulet and when to expect a marathon. I lost everything I was excited about using in a single run because I exhausted all my repair items.

If it was gonna be so punishing I'd like to know to expect punishment instead of being blindsided by the fact I'm expected to keep going after a boss fight

If you're rebooked to a different airline get your luggage intercepted ASAP

This is the second time this happened to me on United so I hope it will help someone else.

I've been overbooked twice on United where they rebooked me on American Airlines. Despite being reassured many times both times my luggage would be able to be picked up at the arrival terminal for United, both times I was turned away and asked to file a Lost luggage claim.

The "lost luggage" process once took a week and once took two days at SFO and DFW respectively. My stuff was mailed to me and came very damaged the first time.

I was told this time I should have demanded to pull the luggage immediately even if the gate agent assured me I could get my luggage.

Maybe I'm just unlucky or maybe this is a recurring practice for United, so I'm just hoping my venting helps someone else avoid the absolute worst headache flights I've ever had.

TIL: In circle buhurt enemies can drag their allies back into the circle and start fighting again

I think he tried to grab a weapon and ended up dragging his buddy back into the ring who immediate killed me

I realized maybe it's better to play Riot honorably

I was sword go wee for a long time but then fought 80+ angry abyss peasants and realized maybe something softer is more honorable and spares me the onslaught. Also quite a bit more challenging

iPhone blocked this normal image of a menu and won't let me open it

I got sent this image of a Chinese restaurant menu which imessage decided was explicit. It doesnt give me an option to open it, only to report it to the authorities and block the sender.

Only mildly infuriating because it's unimportant but imagine if this was an important text...

Shipping personal belongings to the US from Japan?

I am abruptly leaving Japan and needed to quickly pack some belongings in boxes to ship back to america. When I brought the boxes to the post office to do surface mail (船便) the staff suggested I redo the paperwork to be extremely detailed about what's inside and the values since the US has become extremely tarrif happy and there's a chance they will tarrif my personal belongings - esp if things in my boxes seem "too new" or they suspect it was purchased in Japan recently.

It's worth mentioning that this is just used clothes and books.

On top of that she said they won't ship things valued greater than 100 dollars collectively. I have a few boxes so it's not hard for the value to climb to over 100.. should everything magically become worth only 100 yen? I'm not sure what to do here.

Does anyone have any recent experience with this kind of thing?

Seemingly randomly my Pentax 17 focus ring locks up and is very hard to move. I saw one post about this before but the lack of any other discussions online makes me wonder if mine is simply defective.

As one user pointed out, it seems to be temperature related perhaps? Going from the warm outdoors into air conditioned spaces seems to make the problem much worse, but it certainly is not as smooth as it was when I first bought it. Anyone every solve this? I don't want to send it to Pentax for repair just yet unless I'm sure it's a defect
