edit: i do not have money this month. this would not even be started until next month and i'm unsure if it's something i actually want to go through with. i was mostly just shopping around to see if it's worth it for me to do it myself or to pay someone
By skin I mean custom cosmetics obvs. Playing on PS5, using an admittedly kinda old custom cosmetic skin that hasn't rly been updated in a while. I'm mostly trying to use it on doors and a few walls. It was working fine but now if I put it on my bar it crashes when I try to back out.
This happened before with other skins (on the island, that is absolutely decimated because of it and abandoned) but usually after the crash i could load back in and use it again. This, not so much. It crashes now every time.
Is it because it's too old ? Should I try to download a newer custom cosmetic for it? I only have a few custom cosmetics installed right now that are fairly small I believe.
I've also noticed a problem with lost colony cosmetics. Immediate crash when pressing r2 to load it, but the bobs tall tales i think works okay. I hesitate to test it too much because sometimes I can't get back into the game when it crashes like that.
Regular PS5
Been using a TCL model # 55S435 tv with my ps5/ps4/switch for several years and never had a problem with it. Then one day I went to check to see if a show was out while leaving my PS5 on, and when I tried to go back it was only a black screen.
I briefly moved the ps5 to the living room TV (not sustainable) and found that it has no issues even with the same HDMI cord. Since then I've had to unplug and replug everything back in at least twice a day.
Tried asking GROK and it told me to put it into hdmi 2.0, so I tried that and the aspect raiton was all fucked and dark when it finally loaded. Put it back to auto and now again it's a black screen completely.
I am disabled. I cannot keep doing this; up and down at least twice a day, getting on the floor, unplugging everything, getting back up. There has to be something easier.
I've been trying to use grok to figure this shit out but it just isn't happening.
I want to set up my huion to use my photoshop on it. I can't figure out how to set it that the pen to only work on the tablet. I can't get random shit to show up when my tablet is connected.
It says to go to the driver program and set the workspace,. to bring up a menu that lets me select the work space but I'm getting no such menu. I seriously can't figure this out.
Also when it's on half the programs I can't properly select because it's trying to go between both displays and I have no idea how to fix this.
It makes it pretty hard to do the masked troupe sect when you can't share your photos. I notice other people doing it but when I try nothing happens.
steps i've taken:
go to my gallery, click the image, hold square to share image. the image comes up but doesn't give me an option of where to post it. only thing is is to hide character info, hide game info, hold square to share in chat, and square to save image. Holding square does nothing. The circle spins and then just stops.
Is it just not working on ps5? I can't seem to find anything about this.
I have already disabled internet protocol 6. I've already changed my DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. I've cleared my cache. Speed test says I'm running at 390 mbps. My internet used to be great. Then suddenly one day everything changed. Reddit doesn't load images half the time. Can't load any images on tumblr. Can't get Amazon to load.
I have to switch between browsers at random to get any of them to load and Tumblr never works. I've tried Opera, google chrome, firefox... I mainly use Opera but it doesn't really help at all.
Gaming works fine, download speed is fine (most of the time). Sometimes when downloading something easy it will be like idk ... 500 mb of data and opera says it's going to take 4 hrs to download. Phone internet loads just fine.
What am I missing here?

I found out my drivers for my ethernet shit hadn't been updated since 2024. i updated it so ...i think that's helping? guess i didn't try everything
