Watching snooker on Youtube, the audience look like slobs.

Realized it's the contrast with the players. 😎

Reading about Flock cameras - watched Enemy of the State (1998)

D-Tony Scott. Music-Harry Gregson-Williams. Scary over 20 years ago.
For many years I could not watch Tony Scott - too frantic. Now I let the scenes just wash over me.

If there's 'no law in Deadwood'…

How are claims staked and building lots bought and sold?
Serious question.

Every time I watch Deadwood I'm entranced by Al's debauched visage.

That face tells of a lifetime of sin and degradation.

William was such a terrible actor I was glad when Milch killed him off.

And it gave the camp a reason to come together.

Love the indoor lighting

The night scenes with the yellow side-lighting.
They're just so gorgeous. You can pause at practically any moment, take a snap, and put a frame around it.

The make-up department!

These guys are amazing. Al's face after his stroke is a work of genius.
And think about the teeth - someone has to paint Elsworth's teeth every morning. And clean them off after shooting.

Violence -

Using his fists to beat Alma's dad would likely result in broken hands. The skull is harder than phalanges.

The problem for repeat viewers …

Is you lose the shock value. Al and Cy both were shockingly evil. Even EB casually suggesting murder of Alma and Seth doesn't strike us as odd.

Philadelphia (1993) D - Jonathan Demme Music - Howard Shore

Holy Moly! Tom Hanks is phenomenal.
Unfortunately the version I saw was brutally zoomed into wide screen. You know, when close-ups become uncomfortable.

The White House is government property. It is owned by the United States federal government and held in the public trust for the American people.

So why is Trump allowed to desecrate it?

Bullock's wounded shoulder.

First scene in S1 - jailbird has shot Bullock in the shoulder. Doesn't look like it will fester.
Next - he can hoist him and jerk him down to break his neck.
Speaking of bullet wounds - the bullets always seem to be just below the skin in movies.
Edit: Except for Mose Manuel.
