Cover drop song basically sealed the deal for GTAO's Vice Lights song being the official theme song. This is a mashup/comparison with basically zero editing(1-2BPM time stretch with ZERO pitch manipulation)

I HATE how people can't criticize this game without some dumb political debate and whining sparking up

These are my three main points to this argument that are totally justified(in my eyes). No, I didn't have A.I. write this shit for me and then spend more time editing the prompt than I would've typing this all out by hand, I'm not completely fucking braindead(yet).

  1. Trivialization of 4:

First of all, I'll admit I've never personally played the OLD original hack and slash series, but have seen multiple gameplays and I am aware that going in and out of the afterlife is practically nothing to these characters because they are GODS, but this time, in the soft reboots, it's obviously different because it's a much weightier plot point, i.e. the ENTIRE reason GoW 2018 and its sequels has/had any impact at all and not just some short arc to collect some Macguffin to kill the final boss.

  1. Obvious tone shift in writing:

I LOVE GoW4's writing. I fucking adore it. It's one one the most emotionally impactful games I've ever played, period, but I only LIKE GoWR.

You can't deny that the dialogue got incredibly "Marvel"y in 5. You can just hear it in the dialogue clearly written to trigger that very specific cheesy moment I can't really explain(I'm sure someone knows the word for it if you know what I'm talking about).

I don't care how many "original" writers there are from the first game, Gordon Ramsay has made shit meals sometimes and Martin Scorsese turned to A.I. recently, which has nothing to do with this other than to show you how humans are humans and you can't just look up to people like gods just because they made good things in the past.

Anyway, they recently released the first 20-ish minutes of gameplay footage and I can already tell GoWL is going to be absolutely riddled with this type of dialogue.

And side note, I genuinely fucking hate it when shows/movies/games do this one thing where they introduce this cute animal-like character that's very clearly meant to stock shelves with plushies and toys and sell you shit.

  1. My FINAL point, how I KNOW this new game has NOTHING to do with politics and the main character being """FeMaLE🦍""":

I am *ALMOST* CERTAIN... *NO* ONE WOULD'VE BEEN MAD...

...IF THEY HAD JUST MADE A *FREYA* SPIN-OFF INSTEAD.

✋️😐🤚.

She's been in the game as a huge supporting character, and even a villain at one point, and STILL had the courage to team up with the man who killed her son for the sake of the greater good, which already makes her extremely interesting and emotionally complex character, and despite Ragnarok, she's never *really* found an ultimate character resolution, just settled into a nice spot for now so to speak.

So, there is PLENTY of story to be told from this INCREDIBLY LIKABLE character, and for some braindead reason, they chose the DEAD girl, from a game where its ENTIRE story HINGED to the fact that she DIED.

I'm done here. Now you can start throwing tomatoes at me.

P.S. I don't actually know what tf this sub is, or whether it's supposed to be ironic or not, I just saw people flopping their balls onto the table here and I thought I'd just do the same.
