New to me (already in love)

The perfect pop of colour in my collection, this 2000s boston bag just arrived and I’m in love! It’s been worn in a bit so lovely and slouchy - hoping to smoothe out the dimples from incorrect storage with time and care. Would love to see you guys’ bamboo pieces! 🥰

Nearing purse peace ☮️

With today’s arrival of my vintage Keepall 45 (1993), I can say I’m nearing purse peace (I mean there’s always going to be another dream bag but I’m happy with my versatile little family.) My cat has completed the inspection round and is content with what she sees. 🐱 What bag(s) are you guys chasing still?

New to me, 1993 Keepall 45

My much awaited package just arrived - had to formally introduce my Keepall 25 to his older sibling, a vintage Keepall 45 from 1993 (France). I’m in love! 🥰 I also happened to find a preloved luggage tag with my initials, now I just have to let the patina process do its thing 😌

You might enjoy my Georgian-inspired classical playlist while reading

I’ve posted it a few years ago but I’ve been steadily building this playlist for almost a decade and it’s become my favourite soundtrack for reading Jane Austen, Georgian-era novels and other stories with a similar atmosphere.

It’s not strictly 18th- or 19th-century music but a collection of pieces that evoke the mood of those books: pastoral landscapes, country estates, long walks, drawing rooms, melancholy romances, changing seasons and sweeping wistfulness.

The playlist ranges from 18th-century composers to English pastoralists, film scores and lesser-known classical gems from composers like Dussek and Vanhal and I’m constantly updating it whenever I discover something that fits the feeling.

If you’re looking for music that feels like stepping into the world of Austen rather than a historical recreation of it, you might enjoy it. 💚 Tip: sort by recently added for the most unknown works for because I started with the classics back in 2017. :-)

After more than I decade, I found it!

I’ve been obsessed with this YSL bag since I was a broke college student scrolling through TommyTon / JakandJil endlessly and have been looking for it sporadically for the past 10-15 years. I couldn’t afford it when it came out and then it became incredibly rare / hard to find. I finally got my hands on it, for an amazing price. I can’t believe my luck! 🍀
