Hello, is it okay to use IronWolf Pro in an enclosure for editing and storing my photos?basicly like an external hard drive.

My external Western Black P10 SMR hard drive just failed, and I want to replace it with a 4TB IronWolf Pro as an external drive for storing and editing my raw photos in lightroom. I’m not a professional. I’m okay with the speed, but is there any downside to doing this? I want a CMR hard drive; apparently, they are better and fail less often compared to SMR ones
Any advice?.

Mazda 3 2.0L 2017 help please

Hello Gang, I did this diagnosis with my Xtools, called mode 6, and VVT failed. I have no idea what it is or how to fix it, and I'm not sure whether I should be worried. If anyone can help i will be really grateful.

Help with networking setup for UGREEN DXP4800 Pro and Mac Studio

Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy the UGREEN DXP4800 Pro NAS, but I am a bit confused about the best way to connect it to my setup for optimal speeds. My usage is editing and cutting huge raw images.

The NAS has two LAN ports: one 10GbE port and one 2.5GbE port. I will be accessing it primarily from my Mac Studio, and I am trying to figure out which of these three scenarios makes the most sense:

  1. Connecting the NAS directly to my router: If I plug the NAS into a standard home router, will it be fast enough to handle my workflows, or will the router slow things down?
  2. Connecting the NAS directly to my Mac Studio: Should I run a single Ethernet cable from the 10GbE port on the NAS straight into the 10GbE port on my Mac Studio instead?
  3. Connecting to both simultaneously: Is it possible to plug one port into the router (for internet access) and the 10GbE port directly into my Mac Studio at the same time? If I do this, how does the Mac know to use the fast 10GbE cable for file transfers rather than the slower router/Wi-Fi connection?

I am a bit stuck on how the networking logic works here and would really appreciate some guidance on setting this up correctly.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Is this screen Burn?

Hello everyone, I use my MacBook Pro M3 90 percent of the time in clamshell mode, and I don't do anything intense. Is this a screen burn, what is it? I clean and look after my MacBook Pro very much. I mean, I thought OLED gets burn-in. I don't even use the screen; I am so confused.

I got the lens yesterday. Would love some feedback, please.

Sony a6700, Laowa 65mm x2, and Viltrox Z3 Spark.

I have a Viltrox Z3 Spark that I really like, it's so compact and nice, but whenever I go beyond F5.6 and get close to X2, it can't keep up. I think I need to get a Godox V350 or V480.

I was curious why this subreddit isn't like other photography communities where people usually mention their gear and settings when posting an image. I find it a bit odd that no one does this isn't it sort of an unspoken rule in the photography community? Specifically to help others? 1 word when you ask about the gear people answer like Sony 6700 and that's it why?
