Testing out the biggest stencil I've ever done before I put it up
It's two layer and my worry behind if it'd look right after all the work I out into it was alot. It was a very "trust the process" process.
TreeTrunks gets hate, sure, but can we dunk on Starchy for a bit?
Cherry Cream Soda and Rootbeer/Dirtbeer guy, cute love story. Love it. But Starchy is kinda scummy. It's like he preys upon the widows, and i never really hear talk about it. Its always Bubbaline this, or Treetrunks hate that.
I love the show for the dynamics of different relationships it shows too, not just romantic ones, but familial ones as well, but the Cherry Cream Soda and Starchy one kinda sticks with me just because we see Starchy as a side character doing random things so often and seeing him in more of a main role and more charter makes it stick out for me out how he's low key kinda a sleaze bag.
Danny Devito as Phil from Hercules
I think my next project is to do the whole always sunny gang like this
Smaller lion after failing on big one.
First one is the test one to see if it looks decent, a little misaligned, but it looks alright, second one is a pink one based off of Steven Universe for a commision, and the third one is the one im keeping after thinking of different color combos.
I had made a bigger lion stencil, but sometime bigger is not better. It would up just being too big to be able to do properly with out a lot of planning. I like being quick with my stencil work.
Sober living while homeless
See alot of alcohol and weed being passed around, amongst other things. Dont get me wrong, I get it, gotta have small pleasures and all. This isnt me tryin to be holier than though kinda thing for those who do indulge, just curiosity.
For those who do remain sober while on the road, and I mean sober sober, no nicotine, no alcohol, nothing, what helps keep you on that path? What made you decide to be sober for it?
I know whenever I'm out bumming around, I usually stay sober for my own sense of safety, incase something happens, and drugs and alcohol be expensive, stuff I usually get I trade or give away.
Brent Hinds stencil
Was originally gonna do it on the electrical box, but didn't want to cover up the words.
Got my CDL B this year, making the most money I've ever made, still declined
Applying for an apartment after having been homeless for a bit, new job, doing everything the right way, but less than a percent, i do not qualify.
I dont have a strong support system to help as a cosigner. So, right now that is not an option.
Rooms/spaces for rent?
Looking for a place to rent, can be just a room, can be a basement area, I do have one dog who is up to date on shots and vaccines, I have a job with a reliable source of income as well.
For the ladies
As a lady hobo myself, I know sometimes it can be sketchy for us at times. Not saying it cant be for any gender, but this is more for my ladies right now, im not trying to cause any sort of bs for the gender stuff, just want to make sure a group of vulnerable people who are already vulnerable feel some sort of safety in something that may not be as safe.
Would it be possible to set up a group chat for the women who are also looking for other women to travel with or set up resources to come and grab? That way its a somewhat "safe space" so they dont feel as vulnerable?
Is this something thats already occurring? I know there is no such thing as an original thought, but just want to get some feelers out.
Bought used scooter, put a new battery in it, now it does not crank at all. Maybe needs new fuses? 2011 Heritage Scooter
Realizing it maybe more of a fixer upper than I intended. Worked when I bought it, but did not start with the battery, had to kick start it. Went to go change the battery and saw one of the electrodes had melted and was held with paper, so, got a new battery. Read a bit on the subreddit it may need new fuses as well, want to double check.
