Hey guys, hope youre doing well today! I was looking to do vertical video for social media and I know there will be A LOT of layering in this timeline. I was wondering if there was a way to you know put the preview window like completely on the right, in the middle the window with all the settings and on the left my timeline, so I can see it clearely. Sorry in advance for the kinda messy image of what I was thinking haha

So I’ve had mixed success in the past trying to export my project. Let’s just say I’ve had a sort of love-hate relationship with my 2019 MacBook Pro, probably way too old from what I’m making him do. Now it has always been going on my nerves but I could live it, until today. I have left my computer running while going outside for about more than an hour and still: 0% on the export?!
If you’ve ever been trough that, I would be happy to hear your suggestions (I wouldn’t want my whole project to go to waste because of my old almost coal running computer)
This is basically my first attempt to doing a transition edit. I have not been using FCP for a very long time but I do have some reflexes and shortcuts when editing. Please tell me what I should improve if not speed. This small thing took me a weekend 😆
I am posting it here because otherwise I can't post it at all, hope you can understand.
I really like how it turns out on AE so if ùi could get something to work direclty on FCP it would be awesome.
