Liking the 18" chainsaw so far!
I cycle between the 6ah,5ah and 4ah
What's the safest way to buck this pile?
My chip drop typically drops the logs on my gravel pad as I request. But today the arborist decided to pile them off to the side of my empty pad halfway into the woods.
My thought is to buck the ones on the ground first and then buck them in order from the side. Or should I try to move them with my log roller and some help onto my pad first.
Ego 18" chainsaw with 6.0ah battery and charger on sale for $329 at lowes
lowes.comPew Research recently released its large political survey. What about it should have political parties alarmed for the midterm?
Battery warranty denied
I've been having issues with my 2 4.0ah batteries losing their juice quite quickly. I've had them almost 3 years. My entire lawn is 0.38 acres and I used to be able to get it all done with the 2 batteries. Now I need 2 just to finish my front yard. Connected support and did all their testing. They state getting 15 min per battery is acceptable and claim was denied and case closed. Anyone else not have great luck?
Shingle color decision
New roof in a few weeks, deciding between the two.
Which shingle color?
Getting a new roof soon. Deciding between these 2 colors.
Speed queen foaming issue on spin cycle
I've had the TC5 for about a year now and I just noticed this for the past month or so. Since it's in my basement I typically don't go down there right away once it's finished so I caught this by chance.
There's no water, just foam. I've done some trouble shooting. I snaked the stand pipe, I removed the hot water hose and let it run down the stand pipe for 10 min. No blockages etc. It occurs only on spin cycle.
I only use up to the 1 mark on the cap of liquid detergent. It occurs when I wash blankets, towels etc. but not when I do a full load of clothes. I've tried adding extra rise cycle, vinegar etc with no change.
Help deciding between 2 quotes
Both are smaller local roofing companies. Both have been in business 15+years with very good reviews. Both have personal recommendations from people who have had roofs installed by them about 10 years ago.
One more quote to ponder.
You can see my first quote I posted about which seemed to be outrageous.(https://www.reddit.com/r/Roofing/s/6jcCYJAbt8) This one I'm seriously considering.
How's this quote?
One story ranch in central CT about 19 squares. I have 2 layers that will need to be removed and about 2-5 plywood decking replaced. I am currently getting 4-5 more quotes after this one.
What are people paying for new roofs these days?
I'm in central CT. My roof is about 19 squares, single story ranch. Will need 3 sheets of new plywood. Tear off 2 layers, etc. Was quoted 23k.
Ego 20" chainsaw tool only on sale for $260 at Amazon.
I'm hoping for a sale on 18" chainsaw with battery.
Which chainsaw would be best for cutting up hardwood?
My step-dad typically will use his chainsaw to buck logs but I would like to get my own. Given I'm already in the ego ecosystem I was looking at chainsaws. I already have two 4ah and one 2.5ah battery. Depends on the chip drop I get but it's mostly red oak and maple lately. Some of these logs are almost
2.5ft in diameter.
