i need help with this question

A, B and C can do a work in 10, 12 and 15 days respectively. They begin the work together but after 3 days C left the work and 4 days before the completion of work B left the work. In how many days will the total work be completed?

this is a time and work question, and the teacher told us the answer should be 68/11 days, for the total work done. but that doesnt include the 3 days worth of work that a,b,c did together before c left right? so im confused whether it should 101/11 days or 68/11 days. please help!!

Phd at 52, Doubts and Suggestions, Help Required.

Hello, I would like some suggestions. My mother (Qualifications- BA Hons Geography, MA Geography) had the classic living-in-a-patriarchal-society life, having to put aside her passion and her dreams to become a homemaker.

When i tell you she's so passionate about the subject she was majoring in back in college (Geography), I mean it. All my childhood, Ive been constantly (lovingly) bombarded by random geography facts, and my love for studying and learning, all of it, I got from my mother.

She got her dreams of becoming a professor shattered by her marriage.

Now that I've finally grown up a little and am moving away for college, She's thinking of finally getting the doctorate she has always wanted (and deserved).

I would really, really like some suggestions if you have any to help her get back into studying for the UGC-NET.

Anyone here who has prepared for a phd, what is it like? What should she be focusing on? She's not very tech-savvy, so if you have access to any resources that might help her learn, please recommend some.

Also, how do Phds even work? Is being good at the subject enough, or does age come into play, making her less likely to get that ticket for a phd?

Recommendations on Decolonial theory and heritage

Hi!! I would like some recommendations on texts about decolonialism and it's relation to how modern societies can learn (or relearn) their heritage, or deal with the effects that colonialism has left on them. It would be nice if it is written from a non-western perspective.

Recommendations for Texts on Decolonial Theory and Heritage?

Hi!! I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit, but i would like some recommendations on texts about decolonialism and it's relation to how modern societies can learn (or relearn) their heritage, or deal with the effects that colonialism has left on them and their traditions. It would be nice if it focused more on a non-western perspective!!

I've been very interested in learning more about this, but i cant find any specific books about it. It would be great if it focused more on the indian subcontinent.

doubts regarding drops

why is it that droppers werent able to crack clat this time (i mean most of the people who do crack clat are droppers but)? i dont get it, didnt they have more time to study? even if it was a huge shock that the pattern had changed, people had plenty of time to study logical and analytical reasoning (you barely need a week's worth of studying for that) and they shouldve, and most probably did, because as a dropper, they would be attempting even more law entrances like ailet, slat etc as a safety net

and the questions themselves, especially for english and legal reasoning(except for the gk ones) were actually easy, so much so that it didnt require any reading comprehension whatsoever. that maths portion was a bit lengthy though, so i can understand why people would struggle with it, especially with how little time we do have.

im not saying all of this to mock anyone, i genuinely want to know, where do you think people go wrong in their prep and attempt?

Shows that feel like a love letter to life

Hello!! I've been feeling very depressed lately, and so so burnt out, and just need a show to make me feel good. What are some shows that to you feel like a love letter to life? Yes, i know this is extremely vague, but I'm honestly up for anything! The shows (or movies) that come to mind are - Anne with an e, dead poets society, all the ghibli studio movies, the movie amélie, haunting of the hill house (it feels more like an ode to horror, but it covers so many themes i lovee it)

any genre works!! just shows that make you think and feel alive

thankyou in advance <33
