This was a labor of love. I originally had the set in my front yard as-is. The lawn people kept ignoring the area and I was afraid they’d destroy it. I searched and saw ideas for the container garden and also an idea for Mickey Mouse. So I started painting. I really do love it but I’m so happy I’m done. 😂
I’ll preface by saying my doctor is pretty good and understanding and when I ask for things he’s like okay let’s do it. But years of growing up being gaslit by my dad and other doctors still has me prepping for a fight for my healthcare.
I’m trying to find more info if a Kyleena iud is enough progesterone for an estrogen patch. I see conflicting info. I’m 43 and I just had my Kyleena replaced. I have been feeling awful for like 6 months.
I’ve had depression and anxiety for years so definitely had low energy days, but these past 6 months have been awful. I don’t want to do anything. I had my doctor run blood work and I was D deficient but those levels are normal now. I’ve been feeling like I’m going crazy. The fog is awful, the waking in the middle of the night is awful. When I saw my doctor last month, I mentioned perimenopause and he said the IUD can help with that so I pressed on with feeling awful. My quality of life is nonexistent. After blood work came back normal, I dove deeper into perimenopause. I’m like omg this is me.
Anywho, I’m trying to see if the Kyleena is enough.

I’ve been looking for this baby blanket but unfortunately have never found it. It was pink with a dark brown border. White polka dots and a brown heart. Blanket was bought end of 2011 through early 2012. I want to say it was Carter’s or one of the affiliates like target/Walmart brand of Carter’s. The blanket was a regular full-size baby blanket. And was a fleece/plush material.
We wrapped our stillborn daughter in the blanket. And we kept her wrapped in it when we gave her to the funeral home. And in my grief, I didn’t think to ask for it back. Because I wanted her to stay wrapped since she wasn’t going to be with us.
I’ve been on the hunt for the blanket since she passed in 2012.
Seeing the super cute PBNs that were offered at Michael’s last year for Halloween, I’m (im)patiently waiting for this year’s selection. I know it’s only June but I start a super intense school program in September so I’m trying to get all my Fall/Halloween crafting done now.
I know there’s plenty online but I love the little frame ones from Michael’s.
A few months ago I was walking through Michaels (craft store) looking for a new hobby. I saw the pbn section with the regal looking cat and grabbed it. Kitty in the painting looks like my kitty, Sylvie. Figured I’ll try it out and see if I like it.
I started right away. I really enjoyed it, but couldn’t get over how I was just painting on a piece of paper and not something more sturdy. 🫣 I didn’t fully open everything, I only noticed the canvas after I completed the painting on the paper reference sheet. 🤦🏼♀️😂
So I painted it again. And I was hooked. I’ve painted a few larger pieces not shown but I’ve realized I enjoy the smaller paintings more.

I’m looking for a pen pal in the US or international. I am mostly looking for a penpal to share short notes, postcards, or regular cards with. More like fun mail but with more than just saying hi. Female only please and closer in age preferred but not required. I do only speak English but working on learning Spanish. I enjoy finding funny cards or stickers and would love to share them with someone. I’m a wife and mother but I’m really trying to focus on myself and my hobbies. Definitely would like to keep it light but sometimes things happen and we just need to vent or get something deep off our chest.

I live in California but I’m originally from the Midwest. My favorite thing to do right now are paint by number paintings. I was really searching for a hobby that was just for me and I tried one and got hooked. I like forest scenes, nature, and cats. I remember being part of a pen pal program in elementary school and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I’m also at an age where I’m looking for connections with people but can’t always commit to hanging out. I’m getting ready to go back to school again so I know time will be limited but figure I can get a card or postcard in the mail 1-2 times a month.
