UPDATE: After speaking with ESTA hotline - they created a case and expedite it but my status also changed from "not authorized for travel" to "authorization pending". Someone else from the thead had a similar change of status to pending.

Called embassy about ESTA cancellation. Person on phone was rude saying it’s nothing to do with them. On another thread someone said their local embassy said it’s a global glitch.

It seems this is a payments issue on their side during that period, as everyones payment details is now null on the application.

Has anyone reached the ESTA hotline which opened in the afternoon, what did they say: ?

Hi, I have a Pod 4 which I bought in 2025 March. I never used the device, it remained in the box and now I have sold it as brand new.

The buyer made me aware that the device wont be usable without an activation code. And they are concerned.

I have the original email with the activation code from my delivery which wasn't used. Will this still work after a year and a half?

I am still at the same delivery address, but the email and phone number used is from an old work email account and phone, which I no longer have access to. So if the code doesn't work, how will I be able to get a new code. I don't want to make the buyer have to wait.

Hopefully the original code still works.
