ProtoArc EC200 seat pan knocking

Hey everyone,

Hoping someone here has run into this issue or knows a good fix.

I recently got the ProtoArc EC200, and there is an annoying "knocking" / "clacking" sound coming from under the cushion whenever I shift my weight or lean to the left.

Here is the weird part: the noise directly depends on the seat depth setting.

  • Seat pushed all the way back: Loud, noticeable knocking sound when leaning left.
  • Seat extended all the way forward (max extension): The sound completely disappears and the cushion feels totally solid.

It seems like something has extra side-to-side play when pushed back, but not when having the cushion fully extended.

All the main mounting bolts under the seat are fully tightened, and the seat depth lever is definitely locked into a notch.

Has anyone dealt with this specific slider track issue on the EC200 or a similar mechanism? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I just file a warranty claim for a new seat assembly?

Appreciate any advice!

Ray Reconstruction grayed out in Cyberpunk 2077

Running an RX 9070 XT and trying to get Ray Reconstruction working in Cyberpunk 2077 via OptiScaler. The option is grayed out and says it's only available on Nvidia cards.

My current setup:

  • GPU: AMD RX 9070 XT
  • OptiScaler with spoofing set to 4090 (VendorID 0x10de, DeviceID 0x2684)
  • Dxgi = autoSpoofHAGS = trueRegistry = true
  • Ray tracing enabled in-game before trying to enable RR
  • DLSS set as upscaler

What I've already ruled out:

  • RT is definitely on
  • DLSS is active and working
  • OptiScaler is loading (overlay visible)

Is there something specific about Cyberpunk that needs extra steps beyond Fakenvapi? Any help appreciated.

Bizarre 24th fret dissonance/buzz on Schecter KM-7 FR S Mk-III Hybrid - need a master tech's brain

The Specs:

  • Guitar: Schecter KM-7 FR S Mk-III Hybrid
  • Tuning: Drop G (G-D-G-C-F-A-D)
  • Bridge: Floyd Rose 1500
  • Pickups: Sustainiac (Neck) / Fishman Fluence Keith Merrow (Bridge)

The Issue: Fretting the higher frets (mainly the 24th fret) on the higher strings produces a harsh, dissonant, metallic buzz/warble (Example going up from fret 19 to 24). It sounds like classic fret buzz, but obviously there are no frets past 24. It's incredibly loud on the neck pickup and much less, almost not at all noticable on the bridge pickup.

Everything I have already ruled out:

  • Pickup Height: Both pickups are bottomed out completely. The static gap between the fretted string and the Sustainiac is a safe 3mm.
  • Tremolo Springs: I already have foam muting the springs in the back cavity. It's not sympathetic spring ring.
  • Bridge Saddles: The issue happens across multiple strings, ruling out a single bad Floyd Rose saddle block.
  • Back-Buzz: Tested by muting the strings behind my fretting hand near the nut; the dissonance did not stop. (Was hard to test so maybe not completely ruled out.)
  • Sustainiac Gain: Turned the internal neck gain trim pot on the motherboard all the way down; no change.

Any ideas on what else could cause a multi-string, 24th fret buzz on this setup?

Dark Souls Remastered crashing when enabling any technique in REST (ReshadeEffect Shader Toggler)

Hey everyone, I'm hitting a brick wall trying to get REST (ReshadeEffectShaderToggler) working with Dark Souls Remastered.

The Issue: The game boots fine, and the addon works perfectly in the main menu. However, the exact millisecond I load into the 3D world and check any shader box in the REST add-on menu (even lightweight ones like Curves or Vignette), the game instantly crashes to desktop.

What I've already tried:

  • Downgrading and mixing/matching versions (Tested ReShade 5.8.0, 5.9.2, 6.2.0 and current alongside REST versions v.1.1.0, v1.3.9 and current).
  • Disabling all in-game graphics settings that mess with render targets (In-game AA and Ambient Occlusion are completely turned OFF).
  • Disabling all background overlays (Discord, RTSS, GeForce Experience, Steam overlay).

Has anyone successfully bypassed this crash for DSR, or is there a specific stable fork/version combination I missed?

Thanks in advance!

spotify pausing once

So i have this weird issue where spotify pauses a single time within around 1 minute of my phone being connected. When i dont press play within that timeframe, the pause doesnt happen. I've ruled out the connection of my cars own bt interfering or something similar and also already have media disabled for the bt device.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

rainbow issue

Hi guys!

Somewhere into the forbidden woods i started getting this issue.
Its just this color gradient overlayed on the screen (not ui).

Ive noticed it happens almost every time when going trough this doorway/stairs.

I can go to the menu and back into the game and its gone but within 10 minutes of playing its pretty certain to reappear.
Standing in some very specific places also removes this.

Has anyone else had this issue and/or knows a fix to this?

My mods: https://imgur.com/a/5xMvNL0

Edit: actually it also happens with the door on the other side too but when going through the other one, depending on which one i took, it also goes away

Edit 2: diabling mods for player light and visual upgrade didnt fix this, aswell as installing sfx intel fix

spotify pausing a single time

Hey guys,

following scenario:

start car > connect to android auto > press play (spotify) > drive off > spotify pauses (within first minute or so of driving)

This happens just a single time after starting the car but it happens every time.

(autoplay music is off in android auto settings on my phone)

Does anyone have the same issue and/or has a fix for that?

Hi guys.
I'm looking for a better iem than my performer 5 specifically for gaming.

i thought planar would be a no brainer but not many recommend planars on the internet. it looks like dynamic or ba drivers have just better imaging, but since a planars seperation is inherently better i thought there would be a planar with also very good imaging.

looking into reviews of some planars the rating of their imaging differs widely from reviewer to another. i was looking at most modern planars like s12 ultra, mp145 pro, et142, aether and timeless 2 and couldnt decide which one was best for my case and if any of those has better imaging at all than the recommended non planars at all.

does anyone have a definitive answer to this?
ty very much
