I'm doing an interior design degree, but my mom keeps telling my relatives I'm undergoing an engineering major

So yah you know how African parents/relatives don't even take you seriously if you don't go for medical or engineering majors? Yah so basically my relatives now think I'm studying a sector of engineering, even tho they do know I'm undergoing interior design.

Design majors in Sudan aren't considered close to engineering or EVEN DESIGN they just label it as decorating. design is a blend of art, creativity, precession, technical skills and alot with figuring out human mind and coming up with the appropriate solutions.

I can't really put my mind into comparing it with other occupations and professions, I believe every profession is vital for a progressive society, it's just that in my country, it's not appreciated enough.it indeed isn't just decor.

Last time over the phone when I wanted to correct a relative about that, mom stopped me and said they don't understand what design is and just say engineering 😭😭 I'm losing my mind

I'm always tired, exams are coming up, how can I get productive??

I could've asked this anywhere else but I thought I could take in some help from the Muslim girlies.

I'm in design major and our exams are basically projects rather than studying. Idk why but recently I've been feeling really tired, I can't go 2 hours without feeling sleepy. No I don't do caffeine, I sleep and wake up early ( 10:30-6:00) and I don't go out much. Just from uni to home. So I'm home most of the time. I take a 1-2 hours mid day nap sometimes.

Im kinda stressing out. What are your tips for staying active and productive throughout the day?

Edit: thanku guys 4 the comments and tips. If I remember to, I will update yall a month later on what I attempted to change and how I did in my exams, insha'Allah everything eases up, thanks again ❤️

I can't make cinnamon roll buns, I'm crashing out

I'm a university student, the apartment I live in doesn't have an oven, landlord doesn't want to get us a one, and I'm too broke to get a one

I'm obsessed with making cinnamon roll buns, I'm talking Nutella fillings, caramel glaze, cheese cream on top, berries topping

Ain't got no oven...

I need some sweet tooth recipes that might even out my cinnamon buns cravings 😭😭 and doesn't require an oven

there is a specefic type of a house that i want to talk about, as shown in the picture. but when i google it all i see are houses or buildings with 2 floors and balconies and not really anything about the house that i specefically want insights on.

what insights? when and for how long where such houses been standing there for, which type of families liv in there, since when? from which class? how many generations could fit in there? why do they refuse to rebuild it or sell the property, what beauty do residents see in it to keep the building still standing. whats the history behind them?

please show me the resources that i could benefit from

if you have an opinion/view/information that you can share in the comments please do
