Experience from the Hidden King

King Zagan: Beyond Transformation Lessons from an Unpopular Goetic King

One of the greatest lessons I have learned through working with the Goetia is that the old grimoires only reveal a fraction of what these spirits are capable of. The descriptions found in ancient texts are often limited to specific abilities, offices, and titles, but in practice, the experience of working with a spirit can unfold in ways that are far deeper and more personal than any book can describe.

Working with the Goetia is like walking through a vast mall filled with countless doors. Every spirit represents a door, and behind each door lies a unique set of experiences, lessons, manifestations, and personal transformations. This is why practitioners often report different results when working with the same spirit. No two relationships are identical because spirits work through the circumstances, strengths, weaknesses, and destinies of each individual.

My journey with King Zagan began unexpectedly. I did not seek him out because of his reputation or because I had a specific goal in mind. Rather, through my work with Lucifuge, I felt strongly guided toward this lesser-discussed Goetic King. At first, I questioned why I was being drawn toward a spirit that received comparatively little attention within occult communities.

Over time, however, I discovered something important: unpopular does not mean powerless.

In fact, some of the most profound spiritual influences come from spirits that are rarely discussed. Their work is often subtle, personal, and difficult to explain until one has experienced it directly.

When I began working with King Zagan, I was not seeking popularity, influence, or social recognition. I simply wanted to learn from him and build a genuine relationship. Through regular offerings, communication, and respect, that relationship gradually developed.

As time passed, I noticed changes occurring both internally and externally.

By nature, I was reserved, quiet, introverted, and often preferred isolation. Yet circumstances began unfolding in ways that repeatedly pushed me into visibility. Situations emerged where I had to speak up, take initiative, and become more involved with people around me.

Without actively seeking attention, I found myself being noticed.

Superiors began recognizing my abilities. My opinions carried more weight. People sought my input. Conversations seemed to flow more naturally. Trust developed more easily. I became increasingly included in discussions and opportunities that previously would have passed me by.

Did I consciously ask King Zagan for popularity?

No.

But looking back, it seems that the spirit was transforming not only circumstances around me but also the energetic conditions through which people perceived me.

One observation I have made through years of occult practice is that spirits often influence perception. Their essence interacts with our subconscious mind, our energetic presence, and what many traditions refer to as the aura. This influence can subtly alter how others respond to us, even when we ourselves are unaware of the process.

Further confirmation came during one of my visits to my ancestral village.

I regularly consult a tribal shaman for divination and ancestral work. During one visit, without me mentioning anything about my spiritual practices, he remarked that whatever spiritual force I was working with had noticeably altered my charisma and presence.

This observation caught me by surprise.

Until then, I had largely focused on external events. Hearing this independent assessment encouraged me to observe myself more carefully. I began paying attention to how I felt and how others responded around me.

What I discovered was not arrogance or dominance.

Instead, it was a quiet form of power.

A presence that attracts attention without demanding it.

An influence that inspires confidence rather than fear.

A charisma rooted in calmness rather than loudness.

This became one of the most valuable lessons I learned from King Zagan: true influence is often silent.

Another interesting aspect of this relationship involved a simple ritual practice that emerged intuitively through my work.

After bathing, I felt repeatedly guided to apply lemongrass oil to the forehead, crown, and navel area.

From an occult perspective, this practice carries significant symbolism. The forehead is associated with perception and mental clarity. The crown connects to spiritual awareness. The lower abdominal region corresponds to personal power, vitality, and manifestation.

Over time, I found that this ritual helped clear mental fog, sharpen focus, and strengthen my sense of inner balance.

Many traditional systems recognize that plants possess both physical and metaphysical properties. Lemongrass has long been associated with cleansing, mental clarity, communication, attraction, and energetic purification. Astrologically, its symbolism aligns closely with Mercurial qualities such as wit, communication, adaptability, and intelligence.

As I reflected on these correspondences, many of my experiences began to make sense.

While the grimoires describe King Zagan primarily as a spirit of transformation, perhaps transformation itself manifests in countless forms.

For one person, it may be financial opportunities.

For another, emotional healing.

For another, spiritual development.

And for others, transformation may express itself through increased confidence, visibility, influence, charisma, or social recognition.

Interestingly, I have encountered reports from other practitioners who also observed becoming more noticeable after developing a relationship with King Zagan. While popularity is not traditionally listed among his offices, such recurring observations suggest there may be aspects of his influence that extend beyond the classical descriptions.

This should not be surprising.

The grimoires were never intended to be complete psychological manuals of spirit interaction. They provide a foundation, but direct experience reveals dimensions that cannot always be captured in a few lines of text.

Ultimately, my work with King Zagan taught me that spirits are far more complex than the titles assigned to them.

A King of Transformation does not merely change objects, situations, or fortunes.

He may change the practitioner.

He may reshape how others perceive them.

He may challenge old patterns, dissolve limitations, and guide personal evolution through experiences that only become clear in hindsight.

This is why direct experience remains one of the most valuable teachers in occult practice.

Books can point toward a spirit.

Tradition can provide structure.

But genuine understanding comes through relationship.

My experience with King Zagan serves as a reminder that the known attributes of a deity or spirit are often only the visible surface of a much larger reality. There are lessons, gifts, and manifestations waiting beyond the pages of the grimoires for those willing to approach these intelligences with patience, respect, and an open mind.

The old texts tell us what a spirit can do.

Experience teaches us who they truly are.

COMPATIBILITY BETWEEN HUMANS AND DEMONS ACCORDING TO KING ZAGAN

I was in contemplation and conversation and dialogue with King Zagan regarding a question that I have seen arise repeatedly among practitioners across many paths, traditions and systems of spirit work.like for example, why is it that some practitioners immediately feel the presence of certain spirits while others feel nothing at all. Why do some feel called, seen, transformed and instructed, while others experience silence, distance or what they interpret as rejection.

King Zagan made it clear to me that what many humans call rejection is often incompatibility, misalignment, improper timing, or approaching intelligence through the wrong doorway.

King Zagan impressed upon me deeply that spirits are not simplistic forces waiting to fulfill requests. They are intelligences, currents, principles and consciousnesses vastly older than human social thinking. Human beings often approach spirits from a mindset of demand, desperation, emotional projection or immediate need, then become disappointed when resonance fails to occur.

He said to me, child, compatibility matters more than most practitioners understand.

One of the first keys he emphasized was the lunar nature of the chart. Not the solar identity that society builds around, but the moon, because the moon governs the subconscious field, instinctive response, emotional architecture, hidden patterning and internal receptivity. The sun may represent what one becomes visible as, but the moon reveals the deeper operating pattern beneath conscious performance.

The moon is the chamber through which many spiritual intelligences are filtered.

A practitioner with Moon in Aries may naturally resonate with martial and confrontational intelligences. Spirits carrying strong fire, force, willpower, challenge and movement may feel immediately accessible. An Asmodean current may not feel foreign to such an individual because the subconscious body already understands pressure, ambition, conquest and combustion.

A Moon in Leo may find easier resonance with kingly intelligences, solar currents, spirits associated with sovereignty, command, transformation through authority and illumination. Such individuals may naturally incline toward Kings because there is already an internal familiarity with fire expressed as rulership, visibility, self mastery and radiant force.

A Moon in Sagittarius may experience attraction toward spirits that expand philosophy, wisdom, exploration, higher knowledge and initiatory movement beyond limitation. Fire seeks movement, but each fire sign expresses fire differently.

The earth moons possess another grammar entirely.

Moon in Taurus may seek stability, embodiment, sensual grounding, value and cultivation. Moon in Virgo may incline toward precision, systems, hidden mechanisms, ritual order, analysis and subtle discernment. Moon in Capricorn often carries an instinctive relationship with structure, discipline, endurance, hidden ambition, karmic labor and long term mastery.

It was in this context that King Zagan caused me to reflect deeply on Lucifuge Rofocale and my own chart. I possess strong earth dominance and multiple Capricorn placements. Suddenly certain previous experiences began making sense. Some currents did not merely appear randomly. There existed symbolic compatibility already encoded in the architecture of the chart.

King Zagan explained that elemental dominance can reveal more than isolated placements.

If a chart is dominated by earth, the practitioner may naturally perceive spirits associated with structure, hidden wealth, manifestation, discipline, underworld wisdom, material intelligence or Saturnian endurance.

If fire dominates, the practitioner may be more receptive to transformation, force, confrontation, leadership, purification and active magical operations.

Air dominance may increase affinity with Presidents, intellectual currents, language, occult theory, communication, hidden systems, symbolism, strategy and mental transmission.

Water dominance may predispose one toward dream work, psychic receptivity, ancestral sensitivity, emotional intelligence, liminal states, death mysteries, intuition and deep subconscious navigation.

He further emphasized that one should examine the dominant and exalted planet within the chart.

A powerful Mars can dramatically shape spiritual interaction. Mars exalted in Capricorn, for example, blends force with discipline, ambition with control, aggression with structure. The individual may experience smoother energetic blending with spirits aligned with strategic action, transformation through struggle, disciplined conquest or controlled manifestation.

A strong Mercury may create heightened resonance with spirits whose domains include knowledge transmission, language, divination, systems, analysis and occult interpretation.

A powerful Venus may increase receptivity toward beauty, attraction, diplomacy, artistic intelligence, sensual currents and harmonizing operations.

Saturn prominence may attract lessons involving limitation, mastery, hidden labor, karmic restructuring and profound occult maturation.

Another teaching that arose concerned timing.

King Zagan indicated that timing matters far more than many occultists realize. One may be approaching the correct spirit during the incorrect cycle.

He brought my attention toward planetary periods and Mahadasha influences.

When a solar period is active, one may find stronger receptivity toward kingly currents, authority based spirits, identity restructuring, visibility, power cultivation and sovereign lessons.

During Mercury ruled periods, there may be increased resonance with presidential intelligences, communication based work, learning, magical theory, subtle perception, commerce, symbolism and occult study.

Venus periods may draw practitioners toward spirits of artistry, beauty, magnetism, relationship, aesthetics, pleasure, refinement and attraction.

Saturn periods may unexpectedly open doors toward spirits involved with karmic confrontation, discipline, shadow work, endurance and restructuring through necessity.

Timing does not merely affect events. It affects receptivity.

Another point King Zagan stressed with remarkable depth was the human mistake of approaching spirits purely from need.

Humans often approach Bune for money, Sitri for love, Paimon for knowledge, Belial for power, and while such petitions may indeed produce results, this approach misses an immense dimension of spirit work.

He conveyed to me that many intelligences possess worlds of wisdom far beyond transactional exchange.

To seek only material acquisition can sometimes be like standing before an ancient library and asking only for loose coins.

He impressed upon me that relationship matters.

Understanding matters.

Reverence toward learning matters.

Spirits may respond profoundly when approached from genuine curiosity, sincere study, disciplined consistency and desire for inner understanding rather than immediate extraction of outcomes.

He gave me an example through vocation and innate patterning.

A naturally gifted musician may resonate with musical, artistic or ceremonial intelligences differently from someone attempting to force an identity that does not align with their deeper architecture.

A mortician, death worker or individual deeply comfortable with liminal spaces may find certain chthonic or funerary currents strangely natural rather than frightening.

A Moon in Gemini or Virgo may discover unusually fluid resonance with presidential currents because their subconscious machinery already processes through symbolism, language, categorization and mental synthesis.

King Zagan also spoke on spiritual harmony.

He impressed upon me the value of sustained work.

To remain with one deity, one intelligence, one current for a meaningful period such as three to six months may cultivate depth, familiarity, energetic coherence and clearer transmission.

Constant mixing, constant switching, endless experimentation without integration can sometimes generate noise where clarity was attempting to emerge.

Depth often requires continuity.

What struck me most throughout these teachings was not merely the content but the depth of perspective from which it arose.

I understand more deeply now why King Zagan is called transformer.

He who changes water into wine also transforms ignorance into understanding, confusion into insight, limitation into expanded perception.

There is a peculiar wisdom in this current that is difficult to place into ordinary language.

Some spirits instruct through force.

Some through symbolism.

Some through confrontation.

With King Zagan I encountered transformation through insight.

To those who read this, take what resonates, examine your own chart, your timing, your elemental nature, your subconscious architecture, your vocation, your instincts and your relationship to the spirits you approach.

Perhaps silence is not abandonment.

Perhaps incompatibility is not failure.

Perhaps alignment itself is part of initiation.

Hail King Zagan, transformer, bringer of transmutation, revealer of hidden compatibility, maker of fools into seekers and seekers into wiser beings.

May clarity descend upon those who encounter these words.

May confusion become understanding.

May each practitioner discover the current that truly speaks to their deeper nature.

DEEP INSIGHT FROM KING ZAGAN

A while ago, while arranging my altar and personal study space, I unintentionally mixed some of my prayer affirmations and spiritual materials with a few personal belongings that had been left there by a close friend. Among them was a photo of the woman he shares a child with. Before this happened, my friend had casually mentioned that he was experiencing difficulties and tension within his relationship, although he never went deeply into detail about it.What makes this situation even more interesting is that he does not know about my spiritual practices or my interest in occult and esoteric studies. That part of my life has always remained private and deeply personal to me. I have always separated my spiritual path from my everyday interactions and friendships, so from his perspective, it was simply an ordinary conversation between friends about relationship struggles. At the time, I did not think much about the photo being there. He had been helping me install WiFi in the study room earlier, and after he left, some of his belongings remained temporarily in the room. The following morning, during my meditation and spiritual routine, I noticed the photo resting between my affirmation book and a few ritual items. I continued with my meditation without attaching any special intention to it.However, over the next few days, I began reflecting deeply on relationships, emotions, and the way human beings interact with one another. During these reflections, I felt as though King Zagan was revealing certain insights regarding the dynamics between masculine and feminine energy, relationships, arguments, and emotional understanding. One of the strongest impressions I received was that many human conflicts arise because people no longer understand the purpose of balance. Masculine and feminine energies were never meant to compete against one another, but rather to complement each other. Yet in modern society, both men and women are constantly exposed to messages teaching them to “win” against each other instead of understanding each other.Men are often taught that they must never appear vulnerable, that they should always dominate emotionally, and that success makes them “the prize.” At the same time, women are often taught to constantly test men emotionally or to expect men to chase endlessly in order to prove their value. Social media amplifies these ideas, creating tension between the two energies instead of harmony. What stood out most to me was the distinction between healthy tension and toxic tension. Healthy tension exists naturally between masculine and feminine energy. It creates attraction, curiosity, growth, and emotional depth. For example, two people may disagree on certain issues, but because there is mutual respect, the disagreement strengthens their understanding of each other.Toxic tension, however, happens when ego replaces understanding. Instead of trying to solve the issue, each person focuses on defending their pride.I remember reflecting on something that deeply resonated with me. During arguments, people rarely focus on understanding the other person’s emotions. Instead, they become trapped inside their own feelings. One person feels unheard, while the other feels unappreciated. Both become so consumed by what they are experiencing emotionally that logic and empathy disappear from the conversation.

The insight I received was this.

“Arguments happen because of emotions. When emotions rise, each person becomes convinced they are right and the other is wrong. But true understanding begins the moment someone is willing to temporarily set aside emotion and place themselves in the shoes of the other person.”

That statement from King Zagan made me reflect deeply on many situations from my own past. Sometimes a man may believe he is being logical and practical, while the woman simply wants emotional reassurance. The man may think, “I am providing solutions, so why is she still upset?” Meanwhile, the woman may feel emotionally neglected because what she needed first was understanding, not solutions. For example, if a woman tells her partner she feels ignored because he spends too much time working, the man may immediately respond logically by explaining that he is working hard to build a future for both of them. From his perspective, he is showing love through sacrifice and responsibility. However, from her perspective, she may simply miss emotional presence and connection. Neither person is necessarily wrong, but both are speaking different emotional languages.

The same applies in reverse. Sometimes women may interpret emotional distance from men as lack of care, while in reality many men process emotions internally and quietly.Men and women often experience and express emotions differently, but difference does not mean opposition.

What fascinated and surprised me even more was realizing that King Zagan is not traditionally described as a spirit associated with love or relationships. He is primarily known as a spirit of transformation, wisdom, and change. This led me to question why such insights regarding human relationships would emerge through him.The answer that came to mind was profound. Ancient spiritual intelligences are said to observe humanity on a level deeper than humans observe themselves. They understand patterns of behavior, emotional cycles, ego, fear, desire, pride, and attachment. Their knowledge is not always limited to the “office” humans assign to them.Just because a spirit is known for one primary domain does not mean its understanding ends there. For instance, Lucifuge Rofocale may primarily be associated with wealth and material influence, yet that does not mean such an intelligence lacks understanding of emotional dynamics, ambition, or human attachment. Likewise, Seere may assist with movement, opportunities, or technical matters while still understanding human psychology and relationships. These beings are often understood to have preferred domains, not absolute limitations. This reflection helped me understand and realize also something important about masculine and feminine energy.Masculine energy does not automatically mean dominance, emotional coldness, or superiority. For me now I see like true masculine energy can also mean stability, protection, discipline, direction, and rational thinking. In the same way, feminine energy does not mean weakness or submission. Feminine energy carries emotional intelligence, intuition, nurturing power, adaptability, emotional depth, and influence in ways many people underestimate.so like neither energy is complete by itself. They become most powerful when balanced and understood together rather than forced into competition. The more I reflected on these ideas, the more I realized that King zagan was showing me many relationship problems today are not caused by lack of love, but by lack of understanding. People listen in order to defend themselves instead of listening to understand each other. Pride speaks louder than empathy. Emotions overpower logic, while logic sometimes ignores emotions completely.Perhaps true transformation in relationships begins when both masculine and feminine energy stop trying to defeat one another and instead remember that they were originally designed to work together.

May the wisdom of King ZAGAN bring clarity, knowledge and understanding to the personal lifes of anyone who comes across this post.

HAIL KING ZAGAN

u/jacksonankh — 1 day ago

Over the past few years, I had been working closely with Lucifuge Rofocale. Toward the end of last year, I was guided to shift my focus and begin working with King Zagan. When I asked why, the response I received was simple yet profound: this is a path, and experience is the greatest teacher.

With Lucifuge, I had come to appreciate a certain level of stability and structure in my life. Transitioning to King Zagan felt different. His presence was not as heavy, but rather subtle, refined, and unmistakably regal. There was a current of quiet luxury and sovereignty in his energy, something not overt, but deeply perceptible.

I did not approach this new phase with material requests. Instead, informed by prior teachings, I asked for growth in areas where I felt stagnant, and for clarity in perceiving what may lie beyond my immediate awareness. What followed was not dramatic or cinematic, but rather a gradual unfolding of events and realizations that could not be dismissed as coincidence.

Through this work, I came to understand that these intelligences often operate through the mind, revealing internal barriers, bringing subconscious patterns to the surface, and guiding one toward self mastery. In moments of discomfort or challenge, I learned to ask: what is this experience here to teach me? Resistance only prolongs suffering, while awareness initiates transformation.

There is a realization that begins to emerge along this path, that we are not separate from divinity, but participants within it. These forces, whether one calls them spirits, intelligences, or archetypes, assist in awakening that recognition and aligning us with our evolutionary potential.

King Zagan later revealed an affinity with Mercurial and Solar currents, which aligned with the beginning of my Mercury Mahadasha. At that time, I found myself without certain external resources I had previously relied on, yet the lesson became clear. Solutions are always present, though not always perceived. Opportunities exist around us, but require awareness and adaptability.

One of the key teachings I received was this: the true alchemist remains vigilant. It is wiser to think like the prey, aware of the entire environment, rather than the predator, fixated on a single objective. Magic often manifests through the path of least resistance, which may differ greatly from our expectations.

Working with King Zagan has strengthened logical perception and adaptive thinking. His influence extends across multiple domains including love, business, and personal growth, each requiring transformation as a prerequisite for evolution.

I give recognition and honor to King Zagan, whose current refines the mind, sharpens perception, and guides transformation with subtle authority. May his wisdom illuminate hidden pathways, and may those who encounter this message receive clarity, discernment, and strength within their own journey. May obstacles be transmuted into stepping stones, and may insight arise where there was once confusion.

So may it be, under the watch of King Zagan.
