Just bought this Star Ocean 2nd Story R on discount and enjoying so far. My first Star Ocean game and I like the gameplay. But something is making me frustrated.
When you have UNIVERSE difficulty, the enemies are easy and fights last only around 10-15 seconds. Maybe because I learned about Remaking and getting good equipment (CRT Super Boost is great).
When you put to CHAOS difficulty then monsters become damage sponges esp with mini bosses and will start to waste your resurrection elixir and MP items. There's nothing in between.

I just finished the story of Sword with my favorite pokemons!🥰 (I didnt know there's a floating Raichu now 😅). Planning to visit a little bit of the DLCs but I want to move on to the next game.
Initial plan was Shining Pearl for the story. But I read a lot of negative things about it. It even got bad reviews. But I never played that region before. Should I just skip it and go to Scarlet/Violet now? Those motorcycle pokemons look interesting...
