Absolute Newbie with a question: Shattered Legios?

TLDR: Are there game rules for something like "shattered legios" made of of mixed titans from diferent legios, similar to the Hourus Heresy "Shattered Legions" (for marines) rules?

....

As the title implies, I'm brand spanking new. And I have a confession. What I have seen of play videos for Adeptus Titanicus, looks like fun, so I will definitely be playing ... BUT I must admit that it will be a side game for me as my primary interest (for the moment) is building large armies in 6mm to use in old school Epic Armageddon (NetEpic) rules. I realize that AT titans are 8mm BUT the way I see it, they are supposed to be big ... so I can get away with using them next to 6mm guardsmen & their tanks.

The reason I ask about "broken legios" is that I loved reading the Seige of Terra books ... fans of the series will know what I'm getting at.

I'm planning to do a large terain set with walls and trenches (already have the stls, & an painting). While I could easily just do any faction and set battles in 41MA ... it is very tempting to do a "Siege of Terra board with (in addition to a lot of guard and traitor guard) having the motley crew of doferet Space Marines and Titans fron the Seige represented on the table.

... I also have an artistic steek so its very tempting to want to paint my traitor titans as fully corrupted and my loyalists as a hogepodge of survivors from several decimated legios ...

Anyway, sorry for the leanthy post. But I want to play AT with a thematic and good looking force so thats why I'm asking if "shattered legios" is a thing in game or not.

Thank you!

Scale question regarding Titans

So are you using the newer 8mm scale Titans from Adeptus Titanicus / Regions Imperialis?

... or do you source 6mm scale models from somewhere?

Suggestion for the Sub

There should be a pinned post at the top of the sub with links to the most commonly used rules for Epic 40K.

Yes, I've been able to find the most common rules used by (searching the sub)[https://www.reddit.com/r/Epic40k/s/Z0MS35ws9V\]. BUT you will cut down on the number of posts of new people asking "what rules are ya'll using?", if you have a pined post up top.

What's your most controversial and fractious wargaming hobby opinion?

I'm bored and on Reddit. And probably you are as well ... so let's entertain ourselves.

What is your most controversial "opinion" about the miniature wargaming hobby. It can be about anything, a specific game or aspect of the hobby.

It should be something that YOU DON'T openly say around people because it should be something that real people would push back on. Something fractious.

For instance, saying you don't like antisocial behavior in the hobby isn't controversial.

Tung in cheek answers are welcome.

EDIT/P.S.: If you're comment gets a lot of "up votes" you should consider it a personal failure 😉. We are fishing for controversial opinions here so those who receive the most "down votes" are the ones who truly understood the assignment. Just saying.

Custom battlefield mat for 1st Mannassas/Bull Run

Running a 1st Bull Run game this weekend for a friend using my 6mm Baccus ACW miniatures. (Using a rulesystem both of us have read but neither has played yet so ... hoping for the best 😅.)

The mat is an old green blanket cut to 4ft x 4ft. Used sharpies and craft paint to draw and color the features. Hills are 1/2 in foam I purchased in bulk rolls specifically to cut out as playable hills. They were glued in place and then flocked. Trees are scattered terain I've had for a while.

For those that are interested, the deployment you are sing is Col Evens' late morning delaying action against the Union flank attack over the Sudley springs crossing. The bulk of the battle takes place on Henry House Hill later in the afternoon.

Old Kit - new to me.

First newly painted Necrons in a few years. Thought I would get this kit before it gets replaced and can't be reasonably had. This probably finishes my Necron project.

Im looking for inspiration. I while ago I purchased the kit for the First Born Tactical Squod because I knew it wasn't long for the world (at least at a reasonable price). More recently I purchased the upgrade sprew after deciding to turn the into a Deathwatch kill team.

So the backpack banner, though thematically impractical for a kill team, might be to cool not to use ...

So Im fishing for Deathwatch banner inspiration. Wheather it's an old school backpack banner or even a Primaros Ancient, I still want to see what you all have done for Deathwatch.

I'd like to buy a replacement fan shroud for my Ender -3 V3 Pluss. But I can't find it as a part for sale anywhere.

Does someone have a link for a replacement part?

Hello all, I'm new to this sub.

TLDR: **I want to add some Necron guns and im fshing for kit bashing ideas! So send your comments and and inspirational pictures my way!**

... more context

I've had an old Tactical Squod kit sitting around and I recently ordered an upgrade sprue to make them Deathwatch. The fact that they are about to get "legened" doesn't bother me as I like old-school stuff and I don't play "official" 40K anyway. ...but I digress

One idea I have is to take the pointy barral end of a Gouse Flayer and snip it off and glue it to the barrel end Gravety Gun bits (Grav Gun, Grav Pistol, and Grav Combi Bolter attachment).

Naturally I will also be printing out a few copiesof the "Filthy Alien Sword" from Cults3D.
