so so grateful, i love my magpie friends so much

i posted a photo yesterday and people told me they liked their eyes so i thought i’d post a video

a few days ago i posted about the youngest of the flock sharing his food with a currawong, this is a different magpie, who has no problem sharing with the lorikeets? i don’t understand these birds LOL

why does this magpie not have an issue with a currawong stealing its food? every other magpie in the group would have scared him off when he tried

idk i think it looks cool

im pretty sure anyway, what a cutie

he did this 3 times (that i noticed) to the youngest of the group, and once to one other bird, why is this?

i’m pretty sure my recent befriending of the local magpies has attracted grey butcherbirds, as i had never seen them in the backyard until recently (and i birdwatch often) ! aren’t they gorgeous 🥰
