Watchlist App for tvOS and iOS

Works standalone but also integrates with trakt and plex (if you have it). Will open up directly to the streaming service the title is on in the next build.

Anyone remember the Apple TV app “watchaid” for tracking shows and linking them to our Plex Media?

Well, anyway. the concept came back… it’s called Watch Queue. Don’t wanna post the link on here but since this is the sub that I discovered watch aid on 8 years ago, I’d figure I’d post about it to bring it full circle.

WatchQueue 2.0 is here with tvOS+iOS: and a lot of your feedback made it in...

Couldn't have done it without the great feedback from this sub! (The iOS version was a direct ask on here)

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/watchqueue-tv-watchlist/id6781497389?platform=tv

WatchQueue tracks every show and movie you're watching, shows you where each one is streaming, and always cues up your next unwatched episode. Connect Trakt or Plex to pull in your history and library — or skip both and just use it on its own.

Free, no account required. And it's now a universal app: one purchase covers iPhone, (eventually)iPad, and Apple TV, synced through iCloud.

Also working on: tapping a title to jump straight into the streaming app that has it... what's still missing?

The Trakt/Plex integration is a sub of 7 bucks/yr or 20/lifetime but once it unlocks it's good for family sharing and syncs across devices as well.

Watchlist app w/ Trakt/Plex/Infuse integration

I used to be a huge fan of Watch Aid, an app on Apple TV that let me track my shows on the Apple TV and also had awesome trakt integration with the ability to open up my files on my own media server. Since then, there’s a few out there who kind of do the trick but nothing that was satisfying to me. So… this is WatchQueue. I’ve got a huge roadmap ahead of me such as making an iOS version, adding additional integrations with Jellyfin and Emby, and many more!

Made a Watchlist App for Apple TV with Trakt/Plex/Top Shelf integration

I used to be a heavy user of Watch Aid back in the day... that app had it all. I've spent the last few years trying to find alternatives for the apple tv and finally decided to just try to fill the gap for myself. There is a roadmap including an IOS version, a hub for your PLEX or JELLYFIN server, integrating and syncing your lists and the ability to sync with Letterboxd.

Infuse/Plex integrated into Watchlist App for Apple TV

I've struggled with Watchlist apps that integrate with both Plex and Infuse. I decided to fix my issue. Right now, I have a lifetime of 20 bucks to unlock the integration features. App works standalone but it becomes richer when you integrate your trakt backlog and you can choose wether you want to go straight to your server title in either the Plex player or the Infuse player. There is a roadmap including an IOS version, a hub for your PLEX or JELLYFIN server, integrating and syncing your lists and the ability to sync with Letterboxd.

I couldn't handle the APPLE TV app anymore... so I made my own

I tinkered with every Trakt client on Apple TV and couldnt settle on one... so I made my own based on what was working for me. I also truly miss "watch aid" which was an app I used very often! So, taking the things I loved from other trackers, I made this. It's called WatchQueue: a native Apple TV client for Trakt.

  • Sign in with Trakt and your watchlist, continue-watching, and history are just there — nothing trapped in my app, it's all your Trakt account.
  • Plex support if you self-host — it knows what's already in your library.
  • A Discover that leans on what you watch instead of a generic top-10, and a proper "what do I watch next" flow, which was the whole reason I started.
  • No ads, no feed, no upsell. Just your stuff.

I'm posting here because you all actually live in Trakt, so you're the people whose feedback I trust most. If you've got an Apple TV and a Trakt account, I'd love to know what feels off or what you'd want next. (Link in the comments.) IOS is coming in the near future...

I made a Mac app that exports your iPhone videos from iCloud

The problem it solves: you shoot on iPhone, footage lives in iCloud, and there's no good way to get it into a folder structure you control without manually exporting one clip at a time from Photos. Built for people who shoot on iPhone and edit on a Mac.
