How to sharpen grommet die cutter

How to sharpen grommet die cutter

I’m fairly new to corsetry (I just finished my first bunny suit with help and guidance from my seamstress friend) and while looking for supplies I found this hammer grommet kit at a craft reuse store. I’ve only ever used my friend’s grommet press so I’m not super familiar with the hammer ones but tested it out and it’s working well. The only thing is that the die cutter isn’t cutting fabric, is there a way to sharpen these?

Spray Sunscreen Stain

Any ideas on getting this stain out? I did an initial dawn dish soap treatment and ran it through the wash, but my SO transferred it to the dryer afterwards without knowing…

Is seam ripping the zipper lining the only way?

I am working on a costume and following along with a pattern. This piece of the costume is essentially a tabard with a non-separating zipper in the back (the shorter piece) but I accidentally skipped a step and wondering if the only solution is to seam rip the lining from the zipper? Basically, I am supposed to sew the two main fabric pieces at the shoulders, and the two lining pieces at the shoulders, put right sides together and sew around the edge so it can be flipped right side out and top stitched (lining gets attached to the zipper at some point??). Anyway, my point is I can’t put right sides together because I attached the lining to the zipper too early. Is my only solution to seam rip it or is there a trick I am missing? I stopped for the night because clearly my sewing brain is done but want to know if there’s any other solution so I can tackle this fresh tomorrow. Thanks :)

Which alien is this? I recognize everyone except this one.

Friend group cannot figure out which alien this is or what piece of media it’s from.

First attempt at Sashiko

My husband’s vintage haori(?) got some pretty nasty tears in the back and asked me if I could try and mend it. It was my first time trying the sashiko method and I’m pretty happy with the outcome! Also darned some moth holes with some sewing thread.
