Just wanted to know from other leadership teams if this is okay. My store hasn’t been making sales for about a month now and our hours this week just got brutally slashed.

I noticed all my shifts were being shortened and removed for this week so I called out for tomorrow (my last standing shift) attempting to get ahead of them and secure some sick time. Not even 5 minutes later that shift was removed from my schedule!

Is this something worth contacting HR over? None of my leadership team has communicated anything to any of us about this and I’m pretty sure this violates NY labor laws…

Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable or safe to talk about this with my stores leadership team but can any leads or other managers here weigh in on favoritism influencing employee promotions??

Helped in opening up a new store for its grand opening this week and my pointer nail was the sacrifice from moving so many boxes 💔 kinda excited to track the growth progress though. Gonna get me a ruler today 🥲 📏

Also hacked off a bit of my thumb nail too while prepping my lunch yesterday 😂 you gotta laugh off the pain!!
