Capping irrigation?
How would I cap these sprinklers in these flower beds? They aren’t used.

Hi all. I am a first time home buyer and this the kitchen we will be moving into. The countertops are Formica and the cabinets are white laminate from the late 80s, early 90s.
We plan to level that sink and bar and put butcher block on top. And paint over the blue walls with something neutral, but I don’t know how to improve this kitchen on a budget. Ideas welcome!
Has anyone used butcher block for their kitchen counter and/or island from Floor & Decor?
If you considered Floor & Decor, and got butcher block from somewhere else, where did you get yours from?
We are in escrow on a home. It's stuck in the 90's with these white laminate cabinets (the seller painted the wood bottom handles of each cabinet white). What would be the cheapest way to upgrade this kitchen for the time being (say, under $1,000)? Can you even paint this type of laminate?
Where should I get some quotes for home insurance?
I’ve tried Kin and Allstate so far. Kin was higher than Allstate.
I am a first time homebuyer and would like to shop around.
I am a first time home buyer and we are in escrow on our first home in FL. The house is 30 years old and on the listing and the city website it says it’s block, but during the inspection we discovered it is actually WOOD FRAME. I’m a wreck. I loved this house and it’s in our budget but I feel absolutely bamboozled. Just looking for opinions here. We are already getting $10k toward closing. Can we ask for more?
We are under contract on our very first home! 🎉
These cabinet fronts are the 1990s formica with the lower wood part painted white. The cabinet boxes are wood.
What would be the least expensive way to modernize this kitchen? Cabinet refacing?
We just put in an offer on this home (not my furniture in this photo) and the walls are a blue gray. I am more into warm colors. This room is large and I don’t want to overpower it with a dark color. My style is mid century/ mixed with a little eclectic. Any ideas? My sofa is camel brown, and my dining table it a light modern wood.
