Adding a second monitor for work

Hi all, I work from home from my laptop and external monitor - HP 27inch FHD. I want to add a second monitor instead of using my laptop screen (15in) - I work with excel spreadsheets, adobe reader for pdfs, a work program, and the internet. I frequently need to look back and forth between two/three things while working. Should I add a second HP 27in FHD or is there another better option? I do like the dual monitor setup. Is the FHD appropriate for this screen size?

Thanks!

What happened to my butterfly bush?

Zone 6b - Pennsylvania - I bought this butterfly bush last year in spring. It had beautiful purple blooms. It went dormant over winter and the new growth this spring looked great. It has grown beautifully over spring and summer but no blooms at all yet. It’s actually silvery where blooms should be. Any idea what happened?

Help with Husband’s sleep study results please (mixed apnea)

Husband has finally gotten a sleep study done after years of me telling him his snoring has been getting worse. He’s been gasping, restless, and insanely tired and cranky. His follow up isn’t until OCTOBER… so in the meantime can anyone help with these results? I understand the severe obstructive sleep apnea part but confused about the “mixed events” and what this may mean for treatment. He is 42, not super overweight (maybe 15 lbs) and generally in good health otherwise.
Thanks so much.

Raised bed/trellis orientation

Hi all, which way would you orient the beds/cattle panel arch trellis? I am growing tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and zucchini.
I’m in 6b, Pennsylvania and the rest of my yard is taken by oak tree shade. This is the sunniest spot but I’m having trouble deciding which direction everything should go so nothing is super shaded.

When to start bcp if I don’t have a period?

I’m 44 and had an endometrial ablation 7 years ago and no periods since. My dr wants me to try oral bcp to see if it helps my peri symptoms. Does it matter which day in my cycle I start since I don’t have periods anymore?

Discussing HRT with Dr.

Hi all, I am 44, and do not have periods due to an ablation 7 years ago. had an appt with my primary dr a couple weeks ago for something unrelated and briefly discussed my ongoing peri symptoms. (Hot flashes, vag dryness, irritability and rage namely)

She first decided to cut back my thyroid meds a little thinking since my TSH has been suppressed/low for a bit. She said I may want to try otc birth control for managing symptoms.

Last week I had (another) UTI and messaged her asking if estrogen cream would help. She was hesitant to prescribe that and wanted to do labs first to see where I am at. (I know they show nothing)

Got labs done and She said to make another appt to discuss so have an appt in an hour. How’s this list of questions/discussion points? If she doesn’t want to help then my next step will be to make an appt with my OB/GYN. Thanks for reading!

Questions:

Why otc bc VS lower dose estrogen?

If HRT should be started within ten years of menopause why wait til I’m post menopause?

What is the hesitation with using this to help with dryness and frequent UTIs?

Pin Oak help

Hi all, moved here last year and this pin oak is giant. Shades the entire yard, and I am wanting to put in a garden. I read that it’s only safe to be trimmed between Nov-March. If true, what can we do this season if anything? Any idea on age based on size?
I’m also very aware it’s growing into power lines so I am worried about that. Wondering if I need to call the electric company or wait til an arborist can prune it?

Where should I put my raised veg beds?

Just moved here last year and first time doing a veggie garden. I am stumped on the best place to put my two 6x3x2 veggie beds. My house faces southeast and my backyard faces northwest. I currently have the one bed on the fence line but I have a HUGE old oak tree in my backyard which will create a lot of shade. Can anyone help me please? I want to get my beds filled and start planting this week🙏🙏🙏

We just bought this house last year and this is my first time owning a lawn. We have a ton of trees and therefore had a tonnnn of leaves. We neglected to get them all cleaned before winter and they wreaked absolute havoc on our yard. We also pulled out a horseshoe pit so we have a huge dirt spot. I laid down grass seed and lots of clover seed about two weeks ago. We have had a ton of rain and when it’s not raining I’ve been watering twice a day. It’s also been pretty cold. I can see some clover germinating and sprouting but not much grass. Should I seed again? We are in Pennsylvania.

My 13 yr old daughter has super wide feet and we have tried so many “wide” dress shoes and NONE of them fit the width of her foot. I know the struggle as I also have wide feet but hers are much worse than mine! She has a formal coming up in a week and a half and we really need to find something. She wears a size 10/10.5 depending on brand. She says if we don’t find something she’s just not going to go and I hate this for her. Any help or advice appreciated!!!
