My 575 appears dead. Haven’t used it in about 6 weeks, went to hook it up and it won’t power on. Fuse is good, power is good, and I tried doing a factory reset on the handset and I can get this code to come up but nothing else. I took the board out and saw nothing super obviously broken / scorched.
I know plenty of people like to come into this sub and complain. I’d like to just share a positive note. I had a file that had not been changed since January. I opened it on Sunday and could not regenerate a back chamfer tool path with a dovetail cutter. I know it works, I ran the program last week on the mill. I was trying to make an unrelated change in Fusion. After an hour of tinkering I gave up, and filed a support ticket. Within 4 business hours I had a zoom call scheduled to troubleshoot, and they confirmed a change in the CAM kernel, told me how to fix it, and also showed me how I hadn’t really built the tool correctly in the library as well, which was the source of the problem.
I fully expected no useful support even though I am a paying business customer. Hard to argue with the very positive result I had; consider me pleasantly surprised.
