Grooms sister is divorcing the best man....

Need major advice as I'm sure none of you have come across this. About 5 years ago my fiancé's (groom) best friend, whom we will call Jake, eloped with his sister. It was one of those "your older sister is so hot" things come to life. Their marriage has always been rather rocky. We get married next July and my fiance asked Jake to be his best man back in March. Apparently they are getting divorced now and it is looking pretty ugly. How the hell do we proceed. Best man can't come to the wedding at all now because of family over friends. My fiancé doesn't know how to tell him that he cannot come to the wedding anymore for the sake of any dramatics (fiancés parents also do not like Jake). Fiance is wonder if he can even invite Jake to the bachelor party since he still wants his childhood best friend to be involved one way or another, especially since his sister won't be there. How do we ask the NEW best man to be the best man without it sounding like a second choice? All in all, any advice about anything is welcome.

Honeymoon advice: Saint Lucia, Curaçao, Saint Vincent.

I get married at the end of July 2027 and will be on my honeymoon until the first week of August 2027. Fiancé wants all inclusive, mainly for drinks at the beach and poolside quick meals. I need crystal clear light blue waters, great beaches, some scenery, excursions, and places to shop maybe. We will be at said island for 10 days so looking for variety on each island of things to do.

We went to Aruba in October 2026 and it was great but the island was way too small and it doesn't help that half the island is desert.

I love the look of the Titons in Saint Lucia, but the waters look not as bright and clear as the others.

Curacao looks great but it's pretty close to Aruba. Are the beaches as rocky in the waters as Aruba? Because the rocks were kinda brutal in Aruba

Saint vincent looks nice but I heard a lot of beaches aren't white.

Martinique is an honorable mention but I don't think it's as "lively" as the others, could be totally wrong

Have you been to all of these, what are your two cents?

Things I would change to SFGM

I've been getting nostalgic of what GM used to be.

  1. A few shows around the park during the day.

  2. Characters going around.

  3. SONGS BACK INTO THE RIDE STATIONS AND LINES EDIT: THEMED SONGS. Superman used to have the superman theme song instrumental in the ride station, not pop hits.

  4. Greater variety of food

  5. Do something about the dead areas in the park. For example, the 15 empty game stalls by Sky Striker and the empty area by the Big Easy Balloons.

The theme and entertainment has gone so far down hill it's incredible. I remember as a kid there were shows and music, and now it's so dead.

Give me some destination recommendations!

Going on my honeymoon in late July 2027 into early august. Looking to spend about 10 days in said location.

I am based in the Central United states, here are some requirements:

  1. Crystal clear Beach waters

  2. Out of the mainland USA, preferably international

  3. Less than a 9 hour flight

  4. Less than 10k, but would like to keep it under 7/8k.

Highly preferred but not needed:

All inclusive

Not mexico or the Dominican Republic, been there tons of times.

Activities to be available like snorkel/boat excursions, ATV's, Golf etc.

Younger crowd (We will be 26 and 27 at the time)

Not too small of an island, went to Aruba this past October and that was wayyy too tiny of an island.

BONUS: If you went to your recommendation, how was the food and how much did you spend?

Please do not throw away perfectly fine things just because you do not have the room for it moving back home. Please considering donating items or offering them for free on your colleges facebook page for students who cannot afford much. The amount of good furniture, bedding, electronics, clothes, and decor I found when I was moving out is absurd.
