What’s your “I was destined to be vegan” stories?

By that I mean vegan-ish actions you took, in food (or anything else) BEFORE you were vegan/ knew what vegan meant. Essentially your first baby vegan footsteps before you knew what it meant.

I have a few stories. One is that I’ve never eaten seafood in my life besides the first time i tried it and decided it wasn’t for me. I disliked cow meat for my entire life and always opted for it to be taken out slash replaced with by something else (most often potatoes! I loved potatoes and carrot tacos/enchiladas!)

I recently graduated and found a letter that 7th grade me wrote to graduating self. Now during this time in my life was a lot of turmoil and other bad things happening, so a lot of it I don’t remember, the majority really. But in the letter I had asked my future self if I was vegan/vegetarian yet. (In the letter I was asking myself questions that I would hope to accomplish, like have i learned Spanish yet, etc.) only since being 17 did i even know why people went vegan/ it was an entirely new concept to me, then later on at 17 did I become vegan (18 now!!!!). But before reading this I had no memory whatsoever that I had ever contemplated it before, that I had even known what it was, and wanted to do it. I was so shocked, but extremely happy to say I made at least one positive change to my life!!!

This is AMAZING

This is genuinely so good, it literally tastes like it has butter milk in it, it also has a blue cheese note. This was only 2.49 at grocery outlet for me!

1st try at vegan baking (baking in general)

It turned out really good! The only thing I’d change is adding some vegan whipped cream and making more of the filling! The crumble was delicious, it’s also a pretty fool proof recipe. This is coming from someone who’s messed up cake boxes. The recipe is from the book. Peach cobbler recipe

Beanvivo chili on a potato with onions and vegan butter

Added some extra seasonings and hot sauce. Despite the photo, this was really good and I will be buying the chili again. I used half a pouch and was full!!

Chips made out of chick peas with hummus (more chickpeas)

Can you tell I love chickpeas?

Eyevos contacts good?

I want to take my makeup to the next level, and I know contacts are a way to do that. I’ve been seeing a lot of ads for Eyevos and want to know if they are a brand to buy from, and how to use them?

I got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out this past Wednesday. None were exploded or whatever it’s called, I’m 17 if that matters about my teeth. I got them out because my mom said the sooner the better. Anyways, it’s day five now and I still can’t chew anything. I can’t open my mouth all the way either. I haven’t ate food since the surgery and especially because of yesterday. I ate an extremely soft peanut butter cookie the size of an Oreo yesterday and half a tbsp of peanut butter and the pain was terrible in my jaw. Like horrible aching pain in my lower back end jaw. Every-time I try to exercise my jaw it hurts badly. I’m worried that something went wrong and would like to know others experiences. People say they can eat normally between 7-10 days and I just don’t see that happening. I’m so hungry too, all I’ve been able to eat is juice. Any advice? I’m taking my medications regularly.
