To the South African man who helped me at the service station - thank you
Have you had any "kindness of strangers" stories during your road trips?
Yesterday I was driving back from Port Lympne Safari Park to my Air bnb (28 mile journey), and the tyre pressure light came up on my ID3 dashboard around 4 miles in. I started stressing. Stopped at the next services to charge my car and use my inflator, but couldn't get it to work... It was deflating the tyre and I couldn't figure out how to change the settings!
Started stressing more, and a very kind South African man saw me struggling. He came over to help but didn't know how to work my inflator. He used his but it was going VERY slowly. He then said to follow him to the petrol station and use their air pressure thing. Went over, and he guided me how to use it (I've never used it before). This was all while he had his wife and kids in his Tesla!
We did the air pressure on all four tyres (which cost £1.50). I tried to pay him but he waved it off.
I know this is such a small thing regarding air pressure, but it was causing me so much anxiety and he made me feel so much calmer.
Thank you so much to the kind South African man!

Sorting out some stuff and I found a memory card...
Pitfall 3D, Circuit Breakers, Gran Turismo 1 and 2, Wipeout 2097 and Tekken 3
£250 for a diagnostic check for the "SOS warning" light error??
Called to book an MOT at West London VW. Told them about the SOS warning light error. They quoted me £250 just to check it out. Why is it so much and how can I get it done cheaper? And no, I'm not going to use the ODB dongle thingy.

SIPP API Key
I'm trying to add my T212 SIPP account to getquin, but it doesn't have the API key like the S&S ISA and Invest accounts do. Does anyone know if there's a reason for this?
Burnt myself from the steam of a kettle yesterday
We Connect Plus Contract Extension
My We Connect Plus expires in September (it was free for two years). I got an email a few days ago about extending it for a year (£109) or two (£185). Has anyone done this and is it worth it? Seems like a lot of navigation features will disappear if I don't extend - am I understanding that correctly? Also seems quite expensive...
SIPP transfer - quick and easy
Compliments to the T212 team regarding SIPPs... I requested a full cash transfer my old Aviva workplace pension into a SIPP on Friday evening. It was completed by today lunchtime. No problems whatsoever!
Allowance rules of SIPP investing from a cash transfer
Hi. I've just completed a transfer of my old workplace pension into a SIPP on T212. It was a cash transfer and not "in-specie". I understand that cash transfers aren't included in the annual £60k allowance, but now since the cash is sitting there as "uninvested funds", when I choose my investments, will that go towards my annual allowance?
