First 20 days I got like 8 bulk goods traders.... Then when my chicken population hit critical mass they didn't show up for a couple years.

I sold so many chickens I had to buy all their items just to keep it honest.

Pretty impressed they landed 3+ hero rings multiple times that game... If Andy stacked his lightbomb onto it better they woulda steamrolled us. We just barely clawed our way back into the game at the end winning with ~32 kills to ~44 kills.

This was the same swarm where I set up a black sock with swarm commander and a queen cage.

There was a steep hill so I decided against using the ladder and they were on a big branch I would have felt terrible trimming such a large limb off the tree.

Eventually there were only a dozen or two bees swirling around the branch and 400 on the sock and the rest in the box. I moved the sock to the entrance and walked away as the storm was rolling in. The hive was placed up onto some bricks to keep from getting flooded if the rain hits hard. I'll gather up the box tonight or in the morning.

The trees brood looked rough. Pin holes everywhere, shotgun pattern, tons of hive beetles. I decided not to rubber band those honeycombs into the hive to be safe.

Did you know small hive beetles and also ants can carry honeybee viruses like DWV?

Guess she was getting ready to fly away after the tree came down. Might have been 2 or 3 days after the tree fell.

Almost thought we were cooked when the bees began to swarm into the air. Feel for the sweet lady who lost 3 big trees.
