Spicy dumpling soup!

Spicier than expected , this was really good. Relatively healthy at around 550 cals , a great lunch

Di fara frozen pizza , been wanting to try this!

Heard only great things about these online , seen them in target but haven’t tried one until now. Definitely the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had! Everything tastes really fresh , the dough has a great chew and the cheese and sauce are delicious. Pepperoni is also tasty and not just fatty, actually has some good seasoning in it. Better than lots of pizza shop slices I’ve had !

Favorite places to kayak/paddleboard?

I was in golden ears park last weekend, and spent the day at the lake there. Water was nice and not that deep , with lots of people kayaking and paddle boarding. Planning on going back already to do the same myself. What other spots do you guys recommend ?

Protein iced coffee & muffin for breakfast

Not the healthiest muffin at 320 cals , but the coffee is 210 cals for 30g of protein!

Vancouver summers are unmatched!

Some pics from the pool next to Kits beach. Was so packed with people but the sunset was absolutely worth it. Vancouver is so beautiful in the summer , I see why everyone is outside trying to enjoy it.

Costco etiquette

Does anyone else find there to be a certain aggressiveness when it comes to Costco customers in Vancouver? Like obviously Costco will always be busy and full of people. But in Vancouver I find the people are more often to cut my off in the aisles with their carts and just generally be kinda rude. Also the free samples! They put the free samples out, 10 sample cups, and 2 or 3 people manage to take all of them. People also cut in front of me at the sample line with no shame. Am I being too soft or has anyone else noticed this? I’ve been to Costco in Seattle , and it isn’t nearly as bad with the rudeness.

Chinese food for lunch !

Beef in black bean sauce over chow mein and sweet and sour pork. Some pork dumplings as well, all so yummy. Portions were huge , we have enough for dinner as well

Lean cuisine Enchilada

Decent, good amount of rice and the sauce is pretty tasty. Pretty good for 300 calories.

Lean cuisine Gyro

Tastes like default gyro/swarma, but nothing too notable. Added some garlic sauce that made it better. Would rather get one of the pizza ones than this tbh.

Counter meals saved me

Easily my favorite frozen meal, this one being my preferred out of the bunch. So filling and good protein with not much calories. I’m down almost 30 pounds this year and these have been a big reason why

Thoughts on moving to Chicago from Seattle?

I’m from Florida, but have been living in Seattle for about the last 4.5 years. I’ve had my fill of Seattle , with the expensive cost of living and kinda mid food scene. I love the nature vibes here , and the summers are genuinely so beautiful. I also like the cooler weather. I’m thinking of moving to Chicago to be a bit closer to family back home. This likely gets asked a lot in here , but what is some advice you can give for moving to Chicago? Do you recommend it , what things should I look out for , should I consider going elsewhere ? I plan to visit later this year or early next year , I’ve heard really good things about the city

Thoughts on Jack in the Box

I’ve tried it twice now, just not seeing the hype. The variety is there but haven’t tried anything worth going back for. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong stuff

Tried Sonic’s for the first time

* food for me and my partner, I am not this gluttonous alone I promise*
Really surprised at how solid Sonic’s food is, and the drinks are super good.
Got the blue coconut slush, Oreo cheesecake shake with hot fudge , Dirty Diet Coke for drinks. They also gave us a free large strawberry cheesecake shake!!
Had a hot dog , fries , chili cheese tots and tropical smasher for the food. Would def come back again
