This is just a personally made rough guide on how to do 999 punchlines. There are likely other better strategies, but I'm just posting my own experience in case this could be a helpful reference to anyone.

1. Do whatever you can to get SW999 at 5 cost 3 stars. The most helpful initial investment is long term (something) which allows you to refresh at just 1 gold after 30 refreshes (can still fail though). I usually quick cancel runs if I dont get this.

5 cost SW999 at 3 stars gives you haxx:

1000 gold (basically owlbert v2)

3x wealth gems

3x red gems

3x blue gems

A ton of special privilege cards, to be especially used on boots

And you can increase enemy health to 1000% so you can have a tanky enough enemy to get 999 punchlines at lower difficulties like Monarch 1 instead of repeatedly struggling more when trying to do runs at WC.

Also highly recommended to get 3 star Cyrene after getting those coins so you can get even more coins plus also coins from selling 3 star Chrysos heirs. The day god emblems can help speed up your non-attacking units, while the night god emblems you can try to switch to other more useful emblems. Make sure you do NOT select the 99% damage amplification or you risk making the enemy too weak to last until you get 999 punchlines. If you happen to be lucky on Cyrenes, you can try getting her 3 star first.

2. Use whatever you got from above to get 8 skill point bond + Pela / Sampo + Sunday + whatever back sustains that do NOT attack. Everyone at 3 stars, except (Sparxie, Pela, Sampo) who will be kept at 1 star to minimize their starting damage. Huohuo can help with ER once in a while. Your max other elation character should be Yao Guang since more Elation characters may speed up Aha, who we want to move as slow as possible. You can afford to remove Yao Guang if you have an extra skill point emblem.

3. Sparxie to wear a belobog emblem. Belobog bond: after 12 of any of their attacks, summons giant robot AND action advances the highest damage dealing belobog character (would be Sparxie over Pela or Sampo). Pela / Sampo with 3x boots will ramp up speed and will more frequently AA Sparxie as you fight longer. Sparxie is also preferably wearing 1-2 momentum edge (knife + leaf) to save on SP consumption BUT DO NOT use special privilege cards on those momentum edges or Sparxie will deal too much damage.

4. Front line of Sparxie / Cerydra / Sunday / Sparkle. Back line with other SP characters / healers / Sampo Pela. Sunday and Sparkle to wear 2-3 boots. I compromised with using day god emblem (from 3 star Cyrene) as their 3rd equipment since that bond also provides additional speed, while allowing me to put 3x boots on Sampo. Pela or Sampo or both to wear 3x boots (better if 1 of them has all 3 rather than you split the boots between them)

5. BEFORE Aha's first attack, use that time to make Sunday / Sparkle AA each other to buy some early boot stacks for higher speed.

6. AFTER Aha's first attack, you can go ahead and auto your game. But make sure you pay attention to Sunday / Sparkle because sometimes they're AA-ing Cerydra instead of Sparxie - go manual before their turns if your auto AI is doing that. You can also restart the battle if they do it too much or if you somehow had poor RNG elsewhere. Go all manual if your auto AI is becoming an idiot.

With the above strategy, I managed to comfortably get to 999+ punchlines midway during the final boss fight.

Additional notes:

If at last node and short on gold, sell everyone except your SW999 for a bit more chance to roll for SW999 copies (or Cyrene)

Be wary of any boss that CCs which can ruin your run.

The 3 puppet boss (past present eternal) from penacony is weak and will usually be beaten before 999 punchlines even at higher difficulties. May be worth rerolling a new run if you see this as the final boss.

While Robin does do AA, she usually makes my team do way too much damage to bosses even with 1000% health. Not worth it imo.

Worth a bit to get BS and put in your lineup in case she may provide blessing to increase chances of 5 cost characters appearing in shop shuffles. If it doesn't appear, just sell her back.

All those resets were hell especially the ones that were 1-2 gold SW999 away from 3 stars

The wording of this achievement is total nonsense and will have you scratching your head on how to actually accomplish this

So to actually clear this, follow this instead:

You need to

1. Have your highest DPS have at least 2 bonds activated, with 1 of the bonds having the highest amount of characters vs other bonds

2. Need to have completely different DPS in each of the 5 runs

3. Of course the winning runs have to be consecutive

Be very careful not to have someone else accidentally be the highest DPS or the run may become void. Like I've intentionally not drawn / benched Archer so he wouldn't ruin my Daniel run or Yanqing who could ruin my Acheron run.

Example runs:

1. Acheron with debuff and galaxy rangers

2. Rappa / boothill with break and galaxy rangers

3. SW999 with elation and stellaron hunters

4. Daniel with any 2 of xianzhou / skill points / astral express

5. Feixiao with wolf hunt and FUA

6. Aggy wheelchair with day god and energy
