Anyone know how easy it is to reconnect the ribbon cables on an OLED Joycon?

I was planning on selling my Scarlet Violet Switch OLED and set it out on my counter so I didn't forget it, and then my cat knocked it onto the floor. Its totally fine and functional, but the top of the left-hand joycon came off. Everything is totally intact from what I can see, but the ribbon cables are still attached to the top piece.

Is that an easy repair that I can knock out myself or does that need to be sent in somewhere?

[H] Emperor's Children Battleforce, AdMech and Vespid Kill Teams, Skaventide Stormcast, Blood Bowl Centaurs & Bretonnians [W] Slaves to Darkness, Specific Blood Bowl Stuff, possibly Paypal [Loc] US

Hello all!

I lost pretty much all my S2D army in a move and so I'm trying to kill 2 birds with one stone by getting rid of some of my pile of opportunity in exchange for some stuff.

Specifically what I have is:

- Emperor's Children Lords of Excess Battleforce: $200

- Ad Mech Battleclade Kill Team w/ cards: $45

- Hivestorm Vespid Kill Team, models only: $45

- Blood Bowl Bull Centaurs: $45

- Blood Bowl Bretonnian Team Box: $30

- Skaventide Stormcast Half (2 built, rest on sprue): $80

What I'm looking for:

- Slaves to Darkness trade offers. I specifically am looking for the Warhorde of Eternus Box, but am open to offers of similar value both points and money wise.

- Blood Bowl Human Team Box (NOT the nobles, OG humans)

- Blood Bowl Treeman (NOT the gnome treeman)

- Blood Bowl Chaos Chosen Pitch/Dice/Team

[H] Blood Bowl Bretonnian Team NIB [W] Human Team [Loc] US

Just looking to swap this Team 1-for-1. I bought it for the heads as bits but I don't have a need for them anymore.

Would prefer the team to be unbuilt, but if its built well (provide pictures) then I'm open to it. No painted or primed teams please :)

Any player customizations that you can't buy whenever?

I know they've said that they have some sort of plan to re-release a lot of cosmetics locked behind the Nuffle rotations, but I think those are mostly pitches and balls.

Are there also player customizations in there?

Just jumping in, how much exploration is necessary/rewarded?

I'm loving the game so far, but the way the map is laid out and the flow of conversations makes every day take a long ass time for me because I feel like I need to see and hear everytjing each day. Is this the kind of game where you really want to do that to get the full experience or can I just kind of pop in on the places and people I want to check in on and progress the story without missing too much?

Anyone still using stadium and/or sponsorship rules from Death Zone?

Getting a local league rolling soon and I want to include the stadium and sponsorship rules because I find that they add a lot of flavor to the game and help players (especially new ones) really get invested in the "story" of their team. That being said, I don't know how well they jive with the 2025 edition.

Has anyone here used those rules in current edition, and if so how did it go?

Is vanilla EO1 a skip in your opinion?

EDIT: I was wrong they're the HD remakes in case they changed a lot from vanilla

Grabbed the trilogy during the Steam sale and dove in a little bit last night. It wasn't bad but I did think it felt like I was dying a bit too much on literal floor 1 as someone who has experience with these kinds of games, and looking online for beginner help it seems like there's somewhat of a consensus that the first game does lack a bit of the polish and can be rough in that area.

To be clear, I do not have a problem with dying a lot lol in fact I quite enjoyed that a dungeon crawling game might be finally unforgiving in the way I've wanted it, this is more about specifically being unpolished and difficult to a not fun, unbalanced level (which I've seen a few say).

Do you think I'm missing anything skipping straight to EO2?

Trying to decide between these 2 for the "final" look. What do we think?

Number 1 I call "honor guard", a veteran of Twilight Gap who honors the fallen by adorning himself with the symbol of the weapon that commemorates them.

Number 2 is how I imagine a warlord of the Dark Age might have looked if he were generally a good dude, aiming to protect his keep and those within it to the best of his ability.

Does the symbol on the Gjallarhorn have any significance (the two headed bird)?

The only other instances of a similar bird in game I think are Crucible and Zavala, but not only are those 2 different birds (Crucible is splayed wings with swords and a circle in the center, Zavala is smooth wings with legs out), neither of them seem to match Gjally which has no wings at all.

Even if they were the same, Gjally was forged of the armor of the fallen, which Shaxx and Zavala are not. Is it the symbol of a forgotten titan order?

Are Rage heroes also using reservist/deputy power ringsm

Its pretty common knowledge at this point that the green/yellow lantern heroes are not true members of their respective corps, but are instead using training rings essentially that are pre-programmed with constructs as was explained by the respec token given when the light power released. One of the reasons for this was so they didn't have to consider how ridiculous it would be considering the lanterns per sector rule to have hundreds of them running around.

When rage was released they did not get a reservist power change token, have no such limit on how many can be active, and do not (generally) rely on constructs so the main limitations doesn't apply. Atrocitus also canonically hated the idea of the deputy rings in Blackest Night (not reservist like in game but the closest analog). Does this mean that rage users in game have true rings rather than reservist? Did the devs mention this anywhere?

Which of these is best looking for a figure of an original Jedi?

Forgive the crude-ish editing I'm not at home so I can't get pictures of the pieces together but I'm making a minifig of an original, clone wars era jedi character and want to see which of these you guys think looks best. I quite like them all, the only one I have slightly lower is 5 because its just two halves of two different Plo-Koon figures but I still think it looks quite good.

Has anyone experimented with adding the stone curse effect onto their minis, like the Ashen Elder head sculpt has?

I want to do so on my kitbashed path to glory character but the closest I've gotten is cutting tiny bits of sprue and gluing them to the head which looks not quite like what I want

I'm going to be adding a Warstomper to my list, and really want to make him properly chaos-dwarfy and am bouncing a couple ideas around my head at the moment.

The first idea is that he is basically just a big Zharrdron. Either Hashut spoke to him or he is one of the rare few blessed with enough intelligence to understand powerful allies, he lives and fights with his tiny brothers. I would use a Cathayan Sentinel model with all the eastern details smoothed out and with some extra runes and horns on the helm to look like the Zharrdron forged him some armor.

The second is that he was captured at some point and his will was broken. This one will use the gargant model but will have a bull-like helmet (like the anointed sentinels) chained over his head and some armor plates haphazardly thrown onto him from a chaos knight to show that he is a prisoner being dominated by the cruel Daemonsmiths.

Which sounds more interesting to you all?
