Buying a lexus thru carmax or carvana?

didn't realize how hard it is to get a CPO NX350H ... so now i'm looking at the carmax and carvana for more options and better pricing (and not having to deal with a dealership and negotiating).

Any thoughts or experience with getting a lexus through there? Anything to look out for?

I'm gonna stick to a 2024 or newer so at least I'll still have the original lexus warranty till 2028+.

window weepholes?

so i just noticed this window doesn't have weepholes. It was "added" into the basement/foundation wall so not original to the house.

is this normal, or is it missing/covered by the concrete? Can i drill a couple of holes at the bottom frame or should i cut out the concrete a bit at thh bottom frame to see what's going on?

iCloud duplicate of my phone?

Is there a way I can get my iCloud to just be a duplicate of what my current iPhone looks like? I have way more texts and photos in my cloud than I do on my actual phone and running out of storage somehow. I have 191gb on my iCloud while my phone is only at 90gb.

Question CPO NX350H Premium 2024

I found a decent deal at my local dealership online, but have some questions before i go pull the trigger...

  1. it says it's a "no haggle internet price". is this a real thing?

  2. can i request the CPO inspection checklist before even seeing the car or will they only show me that in their office?

  3. Are there any standard features missing from the 2024 models that are in the 2025/2026 models that i need to worry about?

  4. any reason to not get this car? lol

Heat pump summer usage - sleep & energy saving mode vs higher setpoint?

We’ve gotten used to leaving the setpoint around 78F during hotter days with just a fan recently. Was wondering if this saves more electricity or if just using “sleep” and “energy saving” mode would be more efficient. I don’t know what temperature points either of those modes are. This is for a Gree Liv09 unit if that matters.

Looking to buy a CPO - anything else i need to look out for besides the CARFAX

I'm looking to buy a CPO from a lexus dealership. i imagine that it's been fully inspected and tested to their standards. do i need to ask for their inspection report? Is there anything i need to look for besides the cosmetic condition of the car? I imagine just the carfax and a thorough visual inspection, negotiate on an OTD price, and i should be able to walk out of the dealership with the car that day right?

how many years/miles would you go back for a CPO?

I'm having a hard time find a new NXH with only the features that i want. all of the available inventory are a few thousand dollars from random accessories/options more than the Build that i would like.

So i'm contemplating on getting a CPO instead. is there anything i need to look out for? my understanding is that there's a 6 year/50000 mile warranty from the day it was first driven... so a 2024 would have a warranty until 2030 right?

The CPO i'm lookin at is a 2024 model with about 32K miles. is there anything i need to be aware of? This car has all the features i want and would be about $10K less than what i would pay for a new one 2026 model.

What was your out the door price

I know OTD prices vary a lot by region, but I would just like to get a ball park of what I can realistically expect to negotiate with a dealer. Finding a used or CPO nxh has been harder than I expected and prices don’t seem as low as I was hoping for. So I might just get a new one then.

If you can list your location, otd price, trim, and any major features that is included… this would be greatly appreciated.

2026 nxh premium vs older luxury

I only want the luxury model bc of the mark levinson sound system. Is it worth it to get a used 2024 or 2025 luxury , or just stay with a 2026 premium? A 2026 luxury seems a little pricey of for just the upgraded sound system.

Question on pricing when purchasing a new Lexus

So I understand that I can't fully custom build my own Lexus and that the dealer will help me find the closest match with all the options and accessories that I want.

I realized that when looking at their inventory with cars that have all my features, I'll end up paying a lot more because of all the other random features it comes with that I don't want. is this normal?

What options or features did you end up sacrificing so you could the price you wanted, or did you just end up paying more do you could get all the features you actually wanted.

Question on buying a Lexus and selecting accessories

I was at the dealership today and they told me that how it works is we just pick all the options and accessories that we want in the car and they'll find the closest matching car for us.

The website for the nx model shows that object only the top Luxury trim has the 14" infotainment screen. But then there was a premium model in the showroom and it also had a 14" screen. I asked the salesman about it and he says "yea it doesn't matter what the trim says online"

So how do I even know what our starting point for pricing is? And what'd the point of different trims of everything is mix and matched? And how do you negotiate between different dealers in this situation?

Sun shirts vs polyester

I feel like the majority of sun shirts which I love for warmer weathers and travel are unfortunately mostly polyester. Is there a version of these shirts that are have a better material ? (Quick drying odorless that I can wear in the sun and heat)

New Mazda cx50 hybrid vs used Lexus nx350h

Trying to decide between these two cars and hoping to keep the price around 40k, so will probably have to settle for a 2023 nx350 with 30k miles.

The lack of a heated steering wheel in a the cx50 is mine boggling to me aas I'm in the northeast, and it's infotainment screen looks really dated for 2026.

any other thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. I'm not too concerned about either drivetrain or performance as they both seem pretty good in that department. Moreso the features and comfort.

What options did you add on that you love / regret, or wish you added?

Looking to buy the hybrid limited along with the moonroof and 360 camera, rear bumper guard and door side protectors (for my two dogs).

Is the auto dimming function for the side mirrors worth it? Was also looking at the LED upgrade kit and bike carrier hitch but are aftermarket options cheaper and easy enough as a diy?

Crosstrek hybrid pricing?

I’m looking to purchase a Hybrid Crosstrek limited soon and was playing around with the options on the Subaru website. Added a few things along with the 360 camera and moonroof. That alone was $1600. The final price was just short of 40K.

Curious what everyone’s out the door price was and what trim/options.

I was not expecting a hybrid Crosstrek to hit almost 40K lol
