Hi all, I'm going to be flying into Bangkok (BKK) at about 8pm. Will I be able to get through security etc in time for the late bus service to pattaya, or should I stay the night in Bangkok and travel the next day?
I'm an 43yo Australian guy heading to Pattaya solo for the first time from July 27-31. I'm a bit shy and I've always struggled a bit with making friends back home, so I'm hoping to link up with a small group (or other solos) for some nights out on Walking Street, maybe checking out a couple of the wilder shows (ping pong etc.), bars, and general nightlife. Not looking for anything crazy – just chill company to explore safely, negotiate prices together, grab some beers, and avoid the usual tourist traps/scams. I'm easygoing, respectful of the scene, and happy to go with the flow on plans. If you're around those dates and open to teaming up (any age, doesn't matter), drop a comment or DM me. Had a bit of a funny thought the other day, not sure where else to ask it.
Many businesses (especially call centres) have a boilerplate "this call may be recorded for quality and training purposes" message during their hold time.
Notably, this does not specify which party is doing the recording, only that the call 'may' be recorded.
Is that explicit permission for you to also record the call?
I've bought a 3rd party dock for my 2ndhand Switch since it failed to come with an OG one, and I've been getting repeatedly told by one of my friends that 'they're unsafe, they might send through too much voltage and fry the board' etc.
To prevent me from having wasted money on the dock, and to remove any risk should these warnings prove to have merit, is there such a thing as a USB-C cable (or potentially a small USBC device) which will clamp the input power to the safe limits (i belive 5V)?

The flavour for Turn Undead suggests that you channel divine energy into a target or a group, what effect would this sudden infusion of divine power do to those who are just a vessel?
I'm not suggesting it would compel them like a zombie, but I'm curious what unexpected or RP mechanics might result from this.
I've never really known what to do with my hair and beard. For most of my life, I've just gone short-back-and-sides but it grows out hella fast, and I'm completely at a loss for beard styling ideas.

If dark souls is constantly saving your position and status, why does it have such a whinge when you turn off the game in the 'incorrect way'?
My galaxy a71 5g is starting to wear out, with its microphone and battery beginning to fail. I'm going to need a new phone in the near future, and I'd like to get away with as little change for as much longevity as possible.
I would be happy with something with about the same stats and performance as my current phone, but I would like to have esim capability, and I would value a good battery life if possible.

Do I really like the darkness and clarity of the Maui Jim lenses, but I'm really not loving their frames lately, especially with their proprietary nose pads that don't last long, and their insistence on the stems being floppy plastic crap.
Is there a way to either migrate my lenses to another set of similar glasses, or a service that provides alternative frames, so I can get the best of both?
