Looking for a winter set pattern bundle?????

Basically, I’m trying to find a matching scarf+beanie/hooded scarf, mitten/gloves, and sock bundle. I’m not sure how exactly to search for this on Ravelry. Anybody have anything in mind?

If you’re charging $5+ for a pattern, it better be good

Saw a reel for a very cute wearable pattern the other day and thought omg I would love to make that!!!! Go to the pattern site and the maker is charging $10!!!!!!!!! for a pattern that has not been tested OR graded for multiple sizes!!!!! $10!!!!!!!!!

Then their bio says “I’m new to making patterns please be kind <3”

we can tell <333333 i have never seen an untested, ungraded pattern before anything but free

I would gladly pay $10 for a pattern but you clearly put in just enough effort to make something that works for you and only people shaped like you.

Rant over

my husband wants to switch to formula

For the last 10 months I have exclusively nursed my baby except for 2-4 bottles a week while I work 2 short evening shifts. Every time I have complained about the burden of nursing, my husband has brought up formula. Every time I ask him for help with other duties around the house, he talks about how formula will make it easier. Today I was finally fucking sick of it and said okay give him some formula. Then he reversed it on me saying “I know how important breastfeeding is to you I’m not gonna do that to you or our child.” Then he tries to get my breastmilk out of the fridge. We literally have formula in the pantry.

Ok so when I need help formula is the answer, but when I finally tell you to give him the formula, you don’t want to do it?

Ik he’s a lazy gaslighting fuck. We’re gonna try therapy but honestly I think it might be time to just throw in the towel and leave him. My main reason in not doing so yet is I’m a SAHM and rely on his income. Plus I don’t want to split custody.

Just needed to get ts off my chest.

Tension on my ribbing after learning Norwegian purl!

I felt like my ribbing was super loose/ugly on the bottom portion, so I tried out the Norwegian purl for the top portion of ribbing, and I feel like it helped my tension a TON! Any tips on further improving my tension? I feel like it looks great in the stockinette portion, but am open to any suggestions.

I’m not pumping enough at work :/

I’m almost 9 months into my breastfeeding journey! I’m very fortunate to only work 8 hours a week, but I am not pumping enough while I’m at work. I also happen to produce the exact amount of milk my baby needs (which is amazing!), so adding extra pumps hasn’t worked for me either. I’m going to have to start supplementing with formula soon.

Kinda just feeling a little sad about it and wanted to vent. Not really looking for advice as I’ve tried all the things (new pumps/parts/etc).

Idk why the idea of supplementing makes me so sad :/ but it does.

8 months old and baby is still so clingy

I know this is completely normal but holy shit is it annoying.

I’m a SAHM. Every morning baby and I get up and I get straight into making breakfast because I have a 2 hour wake window to make food for myself and baby, clean up breakfast, and get us both ready for the day before he goes down for a 1-2 hour contact nap.

Every day is a rush of me trying to cook while he screams his head off in his playpen because if I’m more than three feet away he freaks. Then we finally get to sit down and eat, he throws it all on the floor, and then cries while I try to finish my breakfast. Then he cries while I clean him off and clean up our plates. Then he cries while I put lotion and clothes on him. Then he chills for about 5 minutes playing in the floor of the bathroom while I shower, but after those 5 minutes he starts crying because he’s tired.

Then I have to climb back in to bed and contact nap with him for the next 1-2 hours. I would try to teach him to nap independently, but then he wakes in 30 minutes and is back to crying if I’m more than 3 feet away, and I honestly just need the fucking peace and quiet after two hours of crying.

When will this stop?????????

Fit Check - Onbuhimo on 8 mo

Using the Lenny Lamb Onbuhimo Pro. Baby is about 22lb. I feel like the back panel comes up a bit too high on his back/armpits. Also legs might be too spread?? Otherwise it feels good. Just wanna make sure it looks good to y’all.

Thanks for any tips/tricks!

I’ve heard no salt before 1 year and no sugar before 2, but Solid Starts says in moderation at 6 months is fine. What did you choose to do with your baby and why?
