Playmaker positioning question

We got a playmaker dual for our camping trips at night or bad weather. The first time I struggled finding a signal moving it around. I've read the coax connections need to point north and have also read it doesn't matter.

On this past trip once I found the signal it was fine. So my question is. Does it matter as long as you have clear site or should it be positioned a certain way?

Thanks everyone

Ford your warranty procedures are some times flat stupid (my journey)

2021 Lariat Powerboost

I got the volume at 0 on the display a week or so ago. Did the normal soft reset then hard reset. Then unhooked both batteries for about an hour. Nothing.

Took it to the dealer. Did diagnostics. Sound control module was bad. They replaced that. Nothing

I asked them to test the Amp (DSP) behind the drivers rear seat. Low and behold there is no signal.

Everything I read online if the resets didn't work it was always the Amp (DSP)

BUT-BUT

In order to be covered by the warranty the procedures need to be followed. So instead of folding down the back seat (which I already installed the release latch) and replacing the DSP.

No the entire interior has to be removed. Both front seats. The middle console . 3/4 of the dash. To replace one Ethernet cable and another cable. That didn't work. Surprise. It's the DSP. The last item to be replaced in the procedure of warranty.

I got this truck in June of '25 with 30k miles on it. It was a gem. One owner lease. The interior was perfect and it'll never be the same. Zero rattles. They didn't have a loaner for 5 days.

My buddy at the dealer let me go out and look. I was sick and mad at the same time.

Shame on you Ford for your stupid procedures. This could have been fixed in a day without ripping my interior apart. Now 9 days later. Still waiting

New Drive2 - Question about voltage reducer

We had a local outfit build a cart for us exactly how we (my wife) wanted. We had a sound bar installed. During the process he mentioned needing a voltage reducer. I spent the weekend just watching videos etc.

Learning more about what the voltage reducer does I'm curious if it was needed since it's only going to a 12v battery. Maybe it's necessary or insurance?

Also it's a 20amp reducer, but has a 25amp fuse in the inline fuse. I feel this should be changed to a 15amp?

If I wanted to install LED lights I'd I'd wire straight to the 12v battery.

Thanks

What is the this called that holds the ring terminals?

What is this called where the crimp rings attach to? I was replacing my tongue jack and the yellow crimp is the power wire to the jack. When I started removing the nut the plastic broke and the whole stud and nut came out. I'll need to replace that and re-attach the other wires. I just cut the wire off the yellow crimp and pulled the old jack out.

Thanks everyone

White Water Rafting advice

It's been 20+ years since I took a trip with my co-workers. We rafted with Ace. in WVA

I heard about Adventures on the Gorge, but also have read that they're now owned by ARAMark. If that is the case ugh.

Then I found Cantrell which I believe is more a local rafting outfit and not the resort style Ace and AotG is.

So my question is Cantrell a good outfit? Reviews seem to be highly positive, but want to see if anyone rafted and had a great experience.

Also my wife and I will come up a day early. We'll either raft Thursday or Friday. Any recommendations on lodging close by?

Thank you to everyone

Auto hide/suppress general table through Property Tab Builder?

First I want to thank this community for the PTB help. That has been new for me. We've always used design table driven information. But this is a direction they want to go.

>We use a general table for information that is for our copper bending machine. I know you can hide/unhide the table, but is there a way you can toggle the table on the drawing on and off with a check box or list box, or radio button.

We're in SW 2024 SP5. I know a lot of PTB features were added to 2025 that aren't available in 2024. Than you everone

The powers that be want different tolerances depending on which division will be using a drawing template. I'm setting up a master template and want all 4 tolerances that will propagate to the tolerance section of the drawing. I can make this work by creating multiple radio buttons or lists for each line.

What I want to do here (if possible) is select one of the 4 tolerances (Tolerances-IN & Tolerances-SI) for a part drawing and the same for the Assembly drawing

The selection would the black text and what I want to propagate is what is in red under each black selection. Is there an easy way to do this under the property tab builder? I could do this in the design table, but they don't want to do that.

Thanks everyone
