Quinn or Leanne?

I just started getting into Doen this year after buying my first piece on Poshmark, a polka dot silk dress that I absolutely adore! Since then I bought the Quinley at full price from the website, and now I keep seeing the Quinn and Leanne pop up on resale sites.

My first instinct is to go with the Quinn because it seems a little more wearable, but I'm curious what people who own them think. I'm wondering if the ruffled neckline on the Leanne is as flattering in person as it looks in photos. I'm also unsure whether the ruffle detail at the waist adds bulk or if it actually drapes nicely. Like if the ruffled neck wasnt there and it was flat, I feel maybe it would look less cheap? I dont even know if what im saying makes sense lol i guess it looks more like old navy than doen?

For anyone who's tried one or both, which do you reach for more?

Looking for a dentist, w/o dental insurance

I'm looking for recommendations for an affordable dentist in DC or Northern Virginia that offers a basic dental cleaning for someone without dental insurance.

I have excellent dental health, I brush multiple times a day, floss daily, and get a routine cleaning about once a year. Historically I've paid around $100–150 for a cleaning, which has always seemed reasonable.

Lately, though, every office I've called has quoted $350–400+ and says I have to get a full new-patient exam and X-rays before they'll do a cleaning. I had X-rays done a few years ago, have no dental issues, and I'm not looking for any extra services or upsells, just a straightforward routine cleaning.

Does anyone know of a dentist in DC or Northern Virginia that offers reasonably priced cash-pay cleanings without requiring a bunch of additional services? I'm happy to pay around $150 for a cleaning, but $400+ for a healthy mouth seems excessive.

I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Why does every milestone in IVF come with a new fear?

I'm 39, with DOR and after two retrievals with nothing to show for them, my third finally gave us one day-5 blast. My doctors are genuinely excited about it, and I know I should feel hopeful too. I am. But alongside that hope is so much fear.

Right now, I'm waiting to find out if it's euploid, and we're planning to keep doing retrievals through the end of the year to bank as many embryos as we can before moving on to transfers. At 39, every month feels like it matters, and that pressure is always in the back of my mind.

I think I had convinced myself that getting euploids was the biggest hurdle, that once you had them, there was a good chance one or two transfers would eventually work. But lately my social media has been filled with stories of younger women than me with multiple failed euploid transfers, people discovering silent endometriosis, needing Lupron, reproductive immunology workups, laparoscopies, and so many other unexpected obstacles. I don't know if the algorithm is just feeding my anxiety, but it's making me question everything.

I'm scared of failed transfers. I'm scared of losing more time. I'm scared that every hurdle will lead to another hurdle, especially when it feels like time isn't on our side.

I'm trying to stay hopeful because I know one blast is something to celebrate after where we've been.

Has anyone else struggled with this part of the process? How did you keep yourself from spiraling while still preparing for whatever came next?

My sister had her wedding last October and I wanted to share $9,876 Wedding Budget Breakdown (75 Guests) as my mom and I and her did a ton to plan

What’s something Boulder does better than most cities?

My husband grew up in Boulder and we’ve talked about moving there soon. I’d love to hear from other locals what makes the community feel special.

What are some ways to make a wedding more eco-friendly w/o making it feel less special?

I'm planning/thinking about our wedding and trying to find a balance between having a beautiful celebration and being mindful of waste. Please share what you did
