How is Garmin’s “Training Effect” calculated?

These were 2 HIIT workouts I completed 2 days apart (Saturday and Monday). Saturday’s workout was categorised as a “Sprint” while today’s workout was categorised as “Base” despite having higher aerobic & anaerobic loads.

What's the rundown on the gym landscape in SG?

If you could come up with a MECE framework to structure the gym landscape in SG, what would it look like? Which gyms would be under which categories?

e.g. In my (limited) experience, I know of 3 broad categories of gyms:

  1. Free & Easy: Anytime Fitness, Fitness First, ActiveSG
  2. Structured Programming (beginner-friendly, mix of HIIT and strength): F45, BFT, REVL, Virgin Active, Barry's Bootcamp
  3. Specialised Training (need to develop proper skills): CrossFit, Division Athletics

Let me know what I'm missing. Also feel free to chime in on what categories are best for what kinds of fitness goals / what kinds of personalities.

Personally, I'm trying to figure out what my fitness goals are, and what gym membership would be right for me.

Godsend for gummy bear lovers - only 72kcals for a whole pack and tastes like normal gummies!

I found these at my local supermarket (Fairprice). It’s an Australian brand.

Where can I go for keloid removal?

I developed a keloid after a fall about a year ago. It's very sensitive and hurts like a b*** whenever someone brushes against it. Since it's on my elbow this means that planking or resting my arm on the table can also be painful. I'd like to get it removed to reduce pain.

I've heard that steroid injections are an effective treatment for keloids. What is the most cost effective way for me to get this done? Are there other treatment alternatives?

For info, I've tried both scar gel (e.g. Hiruscar) and steroid sheet plasters. Hiruscar just makes the sensitivity worse so I've stopped using it. Steroid plasters help reduce pain but the effect goes away quickly. I'm looking for a more permanent solution.
