Decided to try pouring Guinness in a glass

Based on some "strong" suggestions from this sub, I bought a Guinness glass and have decided to try drinking my Guinness from  said glass instead of directly from the can.

The first pour I tired was the "put the glass on the can and flip it upside down while slowly pulling the can out of the glass" method that seems to be very popular on the Internet.

The second pour I tried was the "tilt the glass until it's almost full then hard pour the rest directly into the vertical glass" method that is written on the box.

Here are my thoughts:

  1. Both pours taste better than from the can directly.

  2. The completely upside down pour tastes more like a draft beer.

  3. The tilted pour is the creamiest.

  4. Neither of them have much of a head to speak of.

Will I completely quit drinking it out of the can? Probably not, but now that I have the glass I have more options.

Island Smoked Wings

Got these at Salt Life Food Shack in St. Augustine, FL. Smoky and sweet. The sauce is basically a teriyaki. Tastes almost exactly like the Sweet Baby Rays teriyaki sauce. $18 for 10 wings which is pretty standard here if not on the cheaper side. I would definitely eat these again.

First time trying Belhaven Black

Very flavorful stout. Malty with some hints of coffee and chocolate. I'd definitely have another.

Publix Buffalo Chicken Dip Kettle Chips

These are pretty good. Just enough heat but not enough buffalo flavor. More of a cheddar taste in my opinion. Anyone else tried them?

No one hates TNA more than TNA fans on Reddit

I've only been watching TNA since it showed up on AMC+ this year but I've been enjoying it so far. I actually like it better than AEW and WWE.

I've noticed that quite a few people here seem to hate on the current version of TNA. I guess I can understand it from a standpoint of "it's not as good as it was back in the day" but it still blows my mind that people can watch such a good show and hate on it so much.

I know Reddit can be a brutal place but the constant negativity is exhausting. I understand that TNA fans have survived years of jokes, name changes and times when the company genuinely struggled. And because of that a lot of the fan base is conditioned to constantly look for the sky to fall every time a major contract is up or there is a shift in viewership. But it just seems like the immediate reaction online leans toward worst-case scenarios instead of just enjoying the product in front of them.

And I guess I can understand it if you just don't like what you're seeing on TV currently, but I think the product is good, the storytelling is exciting without being cheesy and they have an incredible roster that works hard every single week. Anyway, that's just my opinion. Thanks for letting me rant.
