Indent on gold dust day gecko’s back near tail?

Hi everyone, I just noticed this indent on my gold dust’s back and I’m not sure what’s up? He’s pretty young, and has a UBV source. There’s nothing in the enclosure that could’ve crushed him. I’m not entirely sure what it could be? Is he a chunky monkey and needs to go on a diet? Any ideas?

Meet Rosie Cotton!

I just rescued her from a Facebook rehoming group for free, and the owner was kind enough to provide the tank for only $200 :)) couldn’t pass up on such a cutie and such a good deal. She’s my first leachie and I’m so happy I found her!

All of my critters are named after Tolkien characters, so meet Rosie Cotton (Samwise’s wife)! She’s a 4yr old nuu Ami x nuu Ana cross. She’s been such a sweetie.

Any recommendations on how I can add greenery to the walls? The tank came with the background and I added the plants and sticks in, but the walls seem too bare to me… I wonder if I can like… grow moss on them or something. Let me know!

TW: crushed exoskeleton. Can he be saved :(?

He was crushed in between something due to my irresponsibility. Can he be saved :(? He’s still moving, but I don’t think he can be saved. :(((((

New baby - meet Sméagol!

Just rescued this little guy from a FB rehoming group! He’s two and looks like a moldy sponge :) the tank he came with is pretty bare so this weekend it’s getting a big bioactive makeover. Can’t wait. He’s extremely friendly and easy to handle. He’s my 2nd Crestie!
