Hello, I’m moving to Perth for work in a few months time and will be bringing my 6yo with me. I’ll be working in the cbd.

Could I please get some recommendations on suburbs to live in? Also how horrendous is the rental market? I’m hoping to avoid renting but understand that might not be the most realistic goal.

Oh and is there anything I need to know about Perth before moving? I’m coming from interstate but not a big city or anything.

Looking to buy my first pair of Blundstones, can anyone provide recommendations? I'm looking at either the 500 or 2340. I like the colour of the 2340 better but not sure on how they'll feel as the 500 says it's a tighter fit.

Hi, I’m staying with a friend who owns a Guinea pig. I have noticed she will chew the bars of her cage quite frequently, even if she is fed.

Is there anything I can do to stop this behaviour? Any good chew toys that might be friendly?

I am worried something may be wrong but not sure because I have no pig experience.

I have always heard being hospitalised seems to make things worse.

My aunt with advanced dementia lives in assisted living and was recently hospitalised due to respiratory illness. Before that she could sit up by herself, she did need a walker but wasn’t very mobile.

Now she’s out of hospital but is no longer mobile, is on puréed foods, and her tongue doesn’t seem to work properly anymore. She used to be very repetitive but now she just says things that make no sense and occasionally she can’t say a word because her tongue just isn’t moving right.

A month ago she had no dietary restrictions and no issue with her tongue and was more cognisant than now.

She still makes the same facial expressions and has the same intonation when talking, but none of it makes sense.

What is it about change of scenery that causes such a rapid decline?
