Video Showcases

Youtube Video: Stage 7 Upper Zone - 3 rounds: 5* SP Sam, 5* Yennefer, 3-5* Triss, any* Marcille, any* Flavia, any* Safiyyah

Youtube Video: Stage 7 Lower Zone - 3 rounds: 5* SP Inanna, 5* Lukamar, 5* Credenza, any* Inanna, any* SP Safiyyah, any* Lutfi

Description has timestamps, requirements, and mini guides. I'll also include the tips down below.

Upper Zone Tips

Example Stacks per Round (you need 10 "allies" stacks to fire cannon):

  • Round 1: 6 allies, 1 Flavia Plant, 1 Dummy, 1 Archer, 1 Yenn Illusion
  • Round 2: 6 allies, 1 Flavia Plant, 1 Dummy, 1 Yenn Illusion, 1 Safiyyah summon
  • Round 3: 6 allies, 1 Flavia Plant, 1 Dummy, 2 Yenn Illusions

>The reason I used Archer in the first round is because the Archer AI RNG is way too frustrating to use in later rounds. It's much more manageable to restart in the first round.

You can replace safiyyah with innana or lutfi's bodyguards.

Stage Tips & Information:

  • 10 red squares stacks will trigger 1 cannon attack at the end of the round. Red square stacks do not overflow after the cannon fires. So if you had 9 the previous round, and get 9 this round, the next round you'll be back to 0 instead of 8.
  • You must damage armored maitha every turn to do full 1.3m cannon damage instead of the 900k. This is to reset to the stage mechanic "Combo Strike" which requires you to alternate damage types. As well as after round 2 it stops her from nuking the your team.
  • You need to cleanse debuffs on your DPS for them to do full damage. Maitha gives lots of debuffs at the end of every round.
  • You must damage trash mobs to damage share onto maitha or 3 rounds is not possible with just the cannon. If you lack DPS, you can just play the red squares.
  • You can place allies 2 squares away from a red square for the axe-men to knock them back into. Assassins in the bottom right area sometimes are too far away to get to your units. Archer can be used to tank assassin swaps.
  • Archer AI movement is frustrating. You have to do trial and error to figure out how to get him on the red square after his attack for your team. However for maitha bomb throw you can use the backtrack button to reposition your illusions not to hit where she throws it (she doesn't change throw spot)
  • Stage mechanic allows units to move 3 tiles at the end of their turn after actively attacking (e.g. Yenns teleport does not trigger this even if you damage enemies)

Lower Zone Tips

Stage Tips & Information:

  • The goal of this stage is to do 3 things to defeat the boss: 1. Single Target DPS on him, 2. Cooldown Reduction for the Stage Skill (Strike of Liberation - Shattered Shackles), 3. Knockback boss into water every so often
  • Lukamar is a possible primary DPS because she naturally interacts with the stage mechanics, has high ST DPS, CDRs the stage skill, and has good mobility to get to the ground items
  • The stage skill adds permanent increased DMG% (Shattered Shackles) onto the boss, so the more you use it the more damage he takes (up to 30 stacks, from 6 uses)
  • There are 2 ground items (Convallaria Cake), one that spawns at the start, and one that spawns at a boss HP threshold. They refresh the stage skill, and let you act again
  • Boss Knockback immunity after he falls into water resets when he acts next. He takes 5% HP from knock into water.
  • You can use elaman unit abilities to put him on Dust Tiles to add more Shattered Shackles stacks
  • AoE attacks will trigger boss/enemy abilities that will damage your team, avoid using them
  • Credenza is basically required for speed clears to reduce the stage skill cooldown (since it's a skill), although other units may work, such as cocoa
  • The Boss has a cap of 30% DMG taken from debuffs, such as from vulnerability III (lutfi/lukamar), or judgement tarot
  • Armbands are nice on supports to add on small bits of ST damage.
  • Use Lukamars "Blood and Wind" ability when she doesn't have stacks to power up her "Chapter of the Final Dance". I've tested all her skill combinations, and those two were the highest DPS potential I saw.

E1 Evanescia Performance w/her alternative team (3 end game modes)

TL;DR:

  • MoC: 0 cycle (w/sustain)
  • PF: 40k (w/sustain)
  • AS: 3768 (could probably get 3800)

Information:

  • For anyone that has both elation teams or no-Yao, and wants to see how Evanescia performs with just EMC, and a harmony... here you go!
    • E1 makes a fairly big difference, but it's not required if you just want to clear
    • E2 sparkle is busted, but you can also run E1 tribbie or another support
  • Gear on her is not maxed, and she's on SPD boots (could go ATK boots because of sparkle)
    • EMC and Huo are on fairly low invest builds, Sparkle is at 185spd + DDD
  • E1 on Huo, and E3 on sparkle are unimportant eidolons so you can ignore them
    • Only Eva has a limited LC
  • Yes, this is in a good elation shill environment. Assuming nothing changes in her team in 6 months from now, this team will not perform like this. But we can assume that we'll get another elation support and sustain in the future, one of which will be for Eva most likely (or allow Yao to go onto her team full time)

I'm very impressed with her performance, and high value early eidolon. If you are on the fence about using her with only scraps, she works surprisingly well without her premium team!

Managed to barely avoid CS Streamer from clipping me for Twitter

If Jojo's team was trying we would have got stomped obviously. They threw the last 2 rounds to keep their ranks low so we got a win at least. Thankfully my other teammate was the clip for the day, and not me.

They kicked Austin after having what I thought was a relatively successful run (for where they were at). He was also IGLing while top fragging.

He made some videos on it, and it sounded like they wanted him to not play IGL (Austin admitted his IGLing wasn't where it needed to be compared to other teams) but he didn't want to play another position so they kicked him.

But more notably they just tweeted that they benched their entire CS Roster.

Anyone know what's going on with this NA org? I'm confused what the strategy is, and what the expectations were.

EDIT: Apologies for title written on mobile
