Wild mage: any difference between taking Neera and rolling a PC wild mage?

I want to try a wild mage. I added Neera to my latest no reload run, which I know will eventually end poorly.

Is there any difference, other than stats, between using Neera or playing a PC wild mage?

I’m actually considering a solo wild mage run, just because it’ll be so much fun, and I’ll only reload if I die. But, aside from playing solo (or if you just don’t like Neera, which is understandable), considering I can add Neera in all the games and fairly early, is there a reason to playing a wild mage PC?

Ticonderoga

I was watching an episode of “Enterprise” and another ship is named ‘Ticonderoga,’ which is a town in upstate NY.

It’s also the home of a Star Trek museum, which I thought was a cool little nod.

I haven’t made a trip there myself, but I do plan on it one day. Have any of you guys gone?

What year did ASA start using the 52/300’s?

I just got lucky and found a used ASA bat I’ve been looking for, and it came out in 2013.

When we have BP sessions in the spring, it’s a mix of balls. I’ve noticed 52/300’s and 44/375’s in the buckets.

While I’m in a 50+ league and nobody hits as hard as they used to, I’d hate to risk damaging this bat prematurely.

TIA.

Dual class question:

When you guys dual class, for arguments sake let’s say berserker (9) > mage, since it’s so popular, do you stop leveling at mage 5 and wait to jump to level 10 to save a proficiency point, or do you just level up as normal?

It makes very little difference in the long run, as the only downside I see to a dual classed fighter into other classes is you can usually only grandmaster one weapon anyway, but I suppose it would allow you to eek out a little more damage from your offhand weapon, assuming it’s a different proficiency than your main hand weapon.

First time playing 2024 D&D. Playing a dwarf wizard.

[rules]

DM commented that it’s weird that I didn’t take mage armor. I shrugged and said I thought I’d save the spell choice and hope to have enough gold for scale armor after our first adventure.

Ooops.

Bats with composite cores and aluminum shells

Can someone please explain to me the thinking behind this technology?

You don’t see it much anymore, and the only bats that really come to my mind are some Eastons like the CV12, one of the Salvos, and the L8, and some old Mizuno Techfires like the MZC-1, the MZC-3 (Fury) and MZC-4 (Crush).

Am I missing any models?

You really can’t use these in alloy leagues because of the composite cores (although I’ve heard of people slipping the Fury and Crush past umps because the barrels just say “Banzai Aluminum”), and most people, given the choice would choose to swing a 100% composite bat.

How do these bats compare to each other overall?

I have owned at least half these bats in my lifetime, and I really like the Crush and the CV12 (the yellow and black one) the best.

I’ve heard great things about the L8 and would like to add one to my bag (send me a PM so I get the email notification if you have one!), but I’ve never actually swung multiples of these types of bats next to each other for comparison.

Have any of you guys done so? I’d be very interested to hear your results.

TIA

These convenience fees are such BS

You’re better off buying tickets at the theater. An extra $3.99 every time negates me trying to save money by going early or going on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’ve been having a lot of issues watching “Enterprise”

I’m watching on a Roku TV. I’ve been doing a complete Star Trek rewatch. That means I’ve watched 4 complete series already, as well as a bunch of movies, all without issue.

But now I watch the show, and it gets stuck as it goes to its first ad break.

I tried skipping to the next episode, and the same thing happens.

I have no idea how to bypass this issue.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

How can I get inside my 2014 C-Max Energi with a dead battery and without a physical key?

I bought this car used. I didn’t get a physical key, but I do have a fob.

The battery died because the brake lights were stuck on and I planned on driving it to the shop today.

Any help is welcome. TIA.

Anybody selling some older Eastons?

I’m specifically looking for either of the CV12’s (SCR1 or SCG1), a Salvo (SP12SVM) or a Raw Power (SP13L8).

These are all the models of Eastons with the composite inner barrel and metal outer shell.

Thanks.

Anybody ever make Anomen into a ranged attacker?

I’m considering it.

I’m planning out my BG2 party, playing insane difficulty with no reloads. Keeping my cleric alive is a goal here, and of the two (mostly) single classed clerics in BG2, Anomen contributes offensively.

I’m thinking about starting him off with ++ sling, then ++flail (for when he is forced into melee), then finishing off sling.

With a natural 18/whatever strength, gauntlets of dexterity equipped, and tons of DuHM spells available, he’ll dish out massive damage while attacking multiple times a round from the back lines.

I’ve never done this before. Anybody have any experience with it?

TIA.

First watch of “Enterprise”

I really like the show so far, I’m still in season 1.

But I *love* the opening clips to star the show. I’m not in love with the song, but it’s ok, if very different from what I’m used to (I’m doing a full rewatch in release order).

The show is really centered on exploration and I love it.

Power gaming perspective: convince me to play a barbarian over a dwarven defender

(Still choosing the dwarf race)

What makes the barbarian superior to the dwarven defender? Moving faster and rage seems a bit more fun, but getting basically a ToB level HLA at first level for the DD is so incredible.

Can you explain this to me please?

I feel like those early battles after evolving are easy coin which preps you for the big battles.

Does not resetting to the first battle after evolving actually speed things up? Are you credited coin as if you had completed those early levels after evolving?

What does this mean?

Does filling this out do anything for me other than save a few minutes? I’m confused and don’t want to waste my precious points.

Asking for help as a beginner

Hey guys. I’m playing this game for Swagbucks and having a lot of fun doing so.

My goal in this game is to grind it out and beat Timeline 61.

I’m doing pretty good at the game so far. I’m on Timeline 44 and I have over a month to get to 62.

I just want to know what I should be doing to get there ASAP.

Right now I have two heroes. Should I buy more? Do they get better?

I’m pretty good at grinding away the levels so I can get as many coins and relics as possible. I always watch the ads also to get me more of these.

I use a set up of Push, Predator Missile, and Black Hole to control my battlefield.

I really appreciate any help you can provide me here for an easier progression through.

TIA.

Item question

Is the +23% damage already factored in to the x1.02 damage, or is it on top of the base damage of this hero?

Is the All Unit Damage bonus only while the hero is on the screen, or does it apply whenever I have the option to deploy my hero?
