Anyone try Continental GP5000 tires in size 700x28 or 700x30?
I’ve been riding 700x25, but it’s almost time for a new set.

How to isolate network device?

I have a Flint2 router running OpenWRT 24.10.5. I’m considering getting a vseebox for media streaming. If I do, I’d connect the box to my router via Ethernet.

How do I isolate the vseebox from the rest of my network, and also make it so my isp doesn’t know what the traffic is?

I need a new deal

My price recently jumped to $215/month, and that is more than I am able to afford. I need to be under $200, and close to $150 if I’m going to sustain this expense.

I know new customers get the best prices, but I’ve been a loyal customer since the late 1990s and absolutely need better pricing. If something better isn’t offered, I’ll be canceling once my NBA team’s season ends.

I currently have “Popular TV” and “Superfast” Internet (800mbps). I’d gladly drop the Internet to 300mbps if it can save me some money.

What is the easiest way for me to save myself as a customer for you? Reddit mods, online chat, or going into a store? I’m getting desperate, and have so far found no one willing to help.

I tried chatting online, but that’s useless. My 125 channels and 800mbps internet is now $215/month and I cannot continue paying that price. I’m willing to lower my internet speed if it saves me money. Is there any help, or do I need to switch to DirectTV or something different?

My kid uses a Chromebook at school that I have no control over.

Does the Neo run the normal MacOS, and do parental controls work? Essentially, can I block it from getting on the internet on schedule similar to how I can block an iPhone using Screen Time?

I’ve worked with Ethernet cables for many years. I went to Amazon to see what a spool would cost, and I’m seeing a lot of “solid” cables. That’s not something I’m familiar with. What are pros/cons? How easy is it to put rj45 connectors on those?

If I’m looking for 200-300 feet of cable, what do ya’ll recommend for price and performance?

I have an iPhone 16. When connected via Bluetooth, Spotify will occasionally stop working and this is displayed on my car’s screen. After a few seconds, music resumes. This has only ever happened with Spotify, so this probably isn’t the best place to ask, but I’m stumped.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have a Flint2 running OpenWRT that I’ve done a bunch of configuration on. Is it possible to get that same configuration installed on a separate Flint2 without manually redoing things?

I’m trying to help a friend with their home Internet. I’m not very familiar with fiber. This is the existing hardware in the basement. The fiber enters the house on the opposite end of the basement from where these devices are located. The internet service is up to 500mbps.

At my house, I have DOCSIS cable internet and a Flint2 router running OpenWRT. I’d like to backup my router configuration, get my friend the same Flint2 router, and load my backup on to theirs, then tweak the things that wouldn’t pertain.

I’d also like to locate the new router on the main floor of the house.

About the existing fiber devices in the photo. I assume the one on the right is the ONT, and the one on the left is some kind of router/AP?

With a new router, do I need both of these, or just the ONT?

Can the necessary fiber device(s) be moved/relocated easily? If they were more central in the basement, running cat6 would be easier.

What else do I need to do/think about?

Thanks!
