Just had an email from our holiday company stating that our seaplane transfer from Male is at 6pm. It was my understanding that they don't fly this late at night. We land at 12pm so I'm hoping it'll be earlier than that

Flying to the Maldives on Sunday from Manchester via Istanbul with both flights being with Turkish Airlines. I have a few questions if able to help

1. Can we only check in online within 24 hours? Our wedding is the day before we go so it's going to be tough to find time.

2. If we manage to check in online, can I use my phone for my docs or do they need printing.

3. Could we check in at the airport if not?

4. When we arrive at Istanbul do we need to collect our bags or will the be automatically transferred? Both flights are with Turkish Airlines and booked as a package

Any help would be greatly appreciated as there's not a lot online to help

What the hell is this nonsense? We've paid our final invoice a month ago and get an email out the blue asking if we want them to cut the cake for guests (additional charge). I understand there may be a small charge for additional washing up and 15 mins of someone's time to cut it but why on earth wasn't this mentioned in previous meetings with the venue. I've never heard of a cakeage fee before and it's left me frankly flabbergasted

The venue do not do wedding cakes so they can't argue its doing them out of profit

Wracking my brain this evening trying to think of good gift ideas for our wedding party.

Please can anyone suggest nice gifts for the following: father of the bride, maid of honour and 2 bridesmaids (age 30 and age 13). Should we get anything for 2 flower girls?

I've just my auction ended for allegedly attempting to sell outside of ebay. I messaged a mate (who is in the relevant trade) with a link to the product (not the ebay auction itself - I'm selling something I bought from a website and never used) and staying a price I'd be happy with and a couple of minutes later my auction was pulled. I didn't share any link to the auction which is baffling me.

Does anyone have any ideas what may have happened?

So I was just finishing doom scrolling for the night when I felt something crawling on my head/face. I brushed it off and turned on my torch to see what it was. To my horror a large wasp was now crawling up my pillow, which was nice. Now I'm too freaked out to sleep and my partner is a bit grumpy that I woke her up shrieking 🤣🤦
