I’m really proud of how this one turned out.
I thrifted the base jacket. It’s cropped to about breast height and I really like the look of it.
Dyed it from olive green to black. The green still shows through a bit on one of the sleeves but I don’t really mind. Kinda looks cool I think.

My partner hand painted the Siouxsie patch.
I hand painted Bauhaus and Alien Sex Fiend, and then I also did the Nox Novacula back panel. The rest of the patches are ones I picked up from shows.

Then I installed all of the spikes and studs. Took a long time!

Wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice on how to paint on fabric the other day. I put it to good use!

The jacket itself just needs another patch on the front, and a few shinies, and maybe some dental floss, and then I’ll consider it pretty well done.

What’s the best way to waterproof these DIY patches so they don’t dissolve in the washer?

Just used acrylic paint on cloth.

Been a while since I busted out this dress

Warm day out.

It was a good time. We went to a dance and they played a lot of post punk and dark wave and had a live band from Montreal.

Then we got Nachos!
