Progress on my Dark Fae Monarch Wings 🖤
About 12 hours in and just getting started on the color. Still a work in progress, but I’m excited to see it come together. I’ve always loved fae because, to me, they represent freedom, whimsy, and living outside the confines of traditional femininity. They’re beautiful, wild, and just a little mischievous. I think little me would have absolutely adored these wings🖤
If you like hyper romantic Mexican alternative music, this playlist is for you
My favorite corner of Mexican alternative music. Sad corridos, indie urbano, dream trap, and songs that make you want to drive at night. Recommendations welcome that have a similar vibe🖤
Did 11.11 (make a wish) miles in Mission Trails this week, perfect place near San Diego to get elevation
Climbed some of the peaks this weekend it was a hot one, but I had a blast. Sorry the pictures aren’t the best, but it’s amazing having a place like Mission Trails Regional Park so close by. There’s something really special about being surrounded by the raw beauty of nature right here in the city
Hiked 30 miles in 3 days
Back packed desolation wilderness with no service for last couple of days. It felt so good to unplug 💚
I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend and doing some self care, what ever that looks like.
Western States Trail Auburn/Cool, CA
I feel so blessed to get to enjoy all the wonderful trails throughout California 😌
Sadness was my favorite drug
I used to write suicide notes on bar napkins,
daydream of driving off bridges,
imagine myself slowly drifting to the bottom of the Atlantic…
I yearned for the eternal slumber of death,
worshiping nihilism as sadness became my identity.
Flowers are little reminders that the universe is full of beauty
A Work in Progress: Dark Fae Moth/Butterfly Wing Tattoo
I am so excited to get color next month. I am big trail runner & I love to imagine myself as a woodland fae as I run through the redwoods of Northern California 🖤
My make up for twin sisters wedding
I’ve never worn glam makeup or fake lashes, but my twin sister wanted everyone to feel beautiful on her big day (she is such a girls girl). I’ve always thought makeup is art, an outward expression of inner beauty. Still, it’s so strange seeing myself look so different from the person I see every day.
